Warning: installing viper4android breaks the radio app. You will have no sound in the FM radio app and uninstalling viper4android via the app will not fix this. As far as I know, you'll have to reflash the system and then reininstall superSU and xposed

I tried following this guide (and a couple others), and everything works until I get to the fastboot oem device-id command. When I enter it, all I get is < waiting for any device > and nothing happens. I did install all the drivers, I'm on Windows 7 and I only have USB 2 ports. How can I make this work?

Edit: I randomly figured it out. You need to install the ADB drivers before using the adb commands, but then you have to do it again after putting the phone in fastboot mode.

Is it possible to geht rid of bootloader unlocked notification when booting?

I don't think so. It's only cosmetic anyway. You could try using TriangleAway from the play store but this was made for Samsung phones so no guarantees and I would strongly suggest making a backup. I haven't tried it because I don't think it's worth the risk and is very unlikely to work.

I have the H815 and tried to do the official LG Developer Boot Loader unlock but the LG Developer website says Unofrtunately, your Device (United States, USA) does not support unlocking the bootloader. I thought all H815 phones supported unlocking the boot loader.

I have just done successfully the first two steps (1. official unlock bootloader, 2. install the latest TWRP). For the root, can you please clarify what is the difference of BETASuperSU and UPDATESuperSU? In the following link says that you must be already rooted to install the SuperSU http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053.
At the moment I am not yet rooted. Which file should I install from the TWRP for rooting my LG G4 V20D?

Hi, i have problems with my microusb.

2 weeks ago i wanted to change my rom and root my phone. So i have unlock bootloader with guides on this forum. After this, fast charge perfectly worked.
Now, i have tried Imperium Rom, Genesys and some kernels but fast charge don't work. And when i try to connect g4 on my pc, my pc don't recognize smartphone. There is nothing, no notification, no sound on my pc. But it charges normally.

If i try to connect it in downoad mode to pc it goes.
Tried a lot fo drivers (4.0.4. , 4.1.0 , and others) but no solution.

How can i make a full dump from smartphone? I think that is a problem in internal folders on smartphone. My think is that some files are corrupted. These files doesn't changes with rom flashes but they are only corrupted. I think that usb drivers (on smartphone) needed to replaced.
How can i solve?

I did this procedure a few months ago, all ok! Now there is an official update to v20g, the phone started downloading it automatically! I cancelled the download, so what is the correct procedure for upgrading, without losing root and do I have to reinstall custom kernel as well?

Strangely no, there are multiple variantes of the H815. It is the H815-EU that has the official bootloader unlock.

You want to flash the Beta-SuperSU 2.74 zip via TWRP.

It might just be the cable. Try not to use one longer that 1.2 metres and make sure it is thick. Also be sure it is a data cable and isn't damaged.

same, can anyone help us?
this is really frustrating.
Hi, have you made sure to do the following:

a) installed adb drivers and rebooted
b) installed minimal adb correctly and opened it correctly (not regular command prompt)
c) using a usb 2.0 port and not 3.0
d) enabled usb debuggind AND OEM unlock

Hope it works out.
