You sure it works for 2.3.4? I mean is it possible to hard brick my phone by using SuperOneClick ?
Im pretty sure it works. No i dont think you can hard brick your phone using superoneclick. All it is is an automatic phone rooting program somyou dont have to do it the other way by using cmd prompt and writing the lines of code out yourself. Like i said if superoneclick determines your phone is rooted already it'll stop rooting and tell you. Oh and as for you cwm recovery question, its not an app you see in your app list. When you press power and volume button to access the boot menu when you scroll through the options highlight the android recovery option itll says wich recovery you have at the bottom of the screen when your in android recovery.

Well I downloaded Root Checker from the market and it says: "Sorry! This device does not have proper root access."
What if SuperOneClick decide that my device is not actually rooted and decide to root itself?
I rooted my other phone countless times with SuperOneClick but I just don't trust this program. If any dev could give me green light to use it I will do it, but so far I just don't think it's really safe.
Thanks alot for the help tho. I really appreciate your help.

No prob. Yes i did that very same thing, got a root checker app and it told me i dont have root access, so thats when i tryed superoneclick to root it again and it told me i already have root access and then all of a sudden the apps that need root access worked again. But i hear ya on the being afraid to brick your phone. I soft bricked mine once, i didnt have a recovery program on my phone so i had to scoure the net to find an original stock bell mobility rom, and that wasnt easy.

OK. New update.
I basically backed up my current ROM. Then downloaded some CM10.1 and flashed it on my phone with the gapps and now everything is fine. I download a program which requires root access, SU asked me and when I allowed the program had root access.
Thanks a lot tayshun12. Big cheers buddy!

After flash the boot loader and install the recovery. It boot into the stock Rom, but every the screen turn off, i can't turn it back on. I have the process a battery pull to reset the phone. I can't wake up the screen by press the power button. If press the power button to more then 2-3times, it show up a screen with a "unrecoverable bootloader work on screen" Is it nornal or am i done something wrong?

US ATT Atrix Stock No BL unlock/root

Hi guys, need to be sure if this process will work with stock ROM 2.3.6 for ATT v 4.5.151.

Many thanks
Seeing as how it worked for this user...

I'm running the 2.3.6 on US ATT as well. But with version 4.5.145. Will this guide work for me? I'm new at this so I want to be sure it can work before I go off exploring.

Unlocked my bootloader and flashed recovery with this on Friday. Good guide but needs a rooting method inserting or at least a link to one because you can't delete the 'installreovery' file from system without root.

First of all, let me give you a big tahnk you for all the work you do to help us with the problems we have, about 3 weeks I bought a Atrix 4G AT&T, it came with GB 2.3.6. build(I think taht is) 4.5.141.. by accident, I OTA to 4.5.145, and the problem is that my battery has gone crazy, it passes from full charge to 0% in about 4 hours and stay like that for about 5 hrs, I succesfully rooted it following the cmd (entering via fastboot and typing the commands) method, to try the battery calibration apps found in the G Play, but none did worked, finallyI did a factory reset( some user from another spanish forum told that could work) but nothing, it keeps all messed up, then I found tht unlocking the boot I wolud be able to flash CWM that has an option to clear the battery info and return it to normal function, but the point is, that someone in the previous forum told me that this bukid (4.5.145) can´t be unlocked, beause is the newer one and nobody has tested it (and would hard brick the phone), could be someone be kind enough to tell me if this process is safe to use in my phone, and if somebody has already used it and how it went...
My phone info is:

System Ver: 4.5.145.MB860AT&T.en.US
Model # MB860
Android Ver: 2.3.6
Baseband: N_01.77.38P
Core Ver: 2.6.32.9
Compilation # 4.5.1A-129_OLY-145

Carrier Tigo Colombia

For all your help, thank you very much.
PD: please excuse my bad english!!!!

uk Tmobile atrix 4g

I am new to this, but have spent a lot of time reading the forums and can not see anything regarding the unlocking of a uk tmobile phone.

I saw a warning once regarding the orange uk version, but that warning may be out of date, in any case I have the t moible version.

So my questions is, and sorry if this is obvious to everyone, but can I use the sbf from the international ihop on my uk phone.

I appear to have all the drivers, but when I tried the details from the motorola page to unlock my phone, the cmd command
fastboot oem unlock data instructions, this was on their site, but anyway it did not work.

So any advice please....

Kind regards
