It is possible to remove the unlocked during the boot?

Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
I was wondering the same thing lol. I dont think that there s anyway to do it, although I have not asked or searched for this because I have been so excited using custom roms! My phone is also unlocked, so it looks good for a resale :p

Hi.
Was following your instructions and rsd said pass for me. I am guessing that I still need to do all the other stuff with the command window as well even though it passed? I powered it all back on normally and everything is still fine. So my question is: Can I just continue on with the process or should I start from the beginning again?
Thanks
Noob, I know.

I see you can download the sbf_flash for linux/osx, but how do you do the RSD Lite part on OSX? I installed it through crossover but I don't want to risk bricking my phone. Help please?

I also have an unlocked bell atrix 4g on rogers. If you dont have 2.3.4 you would have to update your phone with the bell original software. It wont take away your unlock as unlocks are permanent. after you upgrade follow this guide to unlock the Bootloader and feel free to use custom roms!
I was just wondering if you this is weird, The atrix I have has 2.2.2 on it, and no updates available.. apparently it has a different version on it.. something like .. Retail.en.FR

does that mean it was already unlocked (bootloader) or something, is there a way to know that? because even when I connect it to pc with the moto software, it looks up for updates and say No Updates..

any Idea?

thanks

Pretty much like this, RSD said PASS after the executions and reboots.. When I try FASTBOOT OEM UNLOCK, it just keep saying <waiting for devices>

that's it.. even though the phone was connected.. so I tried twice.

1. With right after the RSD said PASS
2. I powered the phone down, then turned it back on again with RSD support.

but each time, fastboot oem unlock said:

<waiting for devices>

any help? thanks :)

Try doing "fastboot -i 0x22b8 oem unlock"

So I got it done on my Macbook, however I did have to install my old Windows XP X64 through boot camp. I couldn't get the boot camp drivers to install because for some really idiotic reason, Apple decided not to support XP 64bit, but installing the moto drivers supplied in the pudding thread were enough to get RSD Lite working.

The process appeared as Failed in my case, and I stupidly left my SIM card and SD card in the phone during all the process (but nothing happened to them really). I just continued as indicated and everything went fine. I did everything after the RSD Lite part in my OS X environment with fastboot-mac with absolutely no problems (heh had more problems in Windows than in OS X). Now I'm happily running the Alien Rom and Faux kernel (for a moment ran @1.45, but I prefer battery to performance).

Thank you so much for the write up!!!

So I might have screwed up this slightly. Your directions are good, just wondering about one thing. I got RSDlite to a point where it said "Please manullay reboot the phone" So I did, nothing really happened. So I unplugged and went on witht he fastbook oem unlock. It now says Unlocked in white writing when booting up, but I'm not sure if it worked because I try to boot into CWM recovery mode but get an exclamation mark and it never moves from there. I think that is a sign that it is not in fact unlocked? Unless someone can correct me.

Thanks

Hi guys, I've just ordered an ME860 (which I believe is the Hong Kong and/or Taiwan version of the Atrix), and was wondering if my bootloader can be unlocked with these steps?

Thanks :)

I have to post instructions on how to install CWM there are some issues. This was happening to me as well until I installed Romracers recovery.

Follow these instructions and update me on what your findings are.

in the forum int'l house of pudding there are ram fixes. If you are using a custom rom it should fix it though :)
