[HOWTO] (moto-fastboot) Flash a build on an unlocked Atrix

I am stuck at this error...

Flashing partition boot
Flashing MBR to device
FLashing StorMgr partition: LNX

Failed to process command download : 13fe0800(0x6)

??

I am on Windows 7 , 64bit os

Please help...:confused::confused:

EDIT:: Nevermind...I guess I will be waiting until Friday for Windows support for this build! Sigh.

EDIT #2::OMG I broke it! my touchscreen does not work!? After trying to flash with Kenneth's fastboot and getting errors...and realized there is no Windows support at the moment..I unplugged my phone and rebooted it...now..the phone turns on fine but the touch screen does not work at all? The side keys work and the power button but that is it... O_O :confused:

I am also very confused by your fastboot error, never seen it with my moto-fastboot. Please do not use fastboot but the moto-fastboot from this thread. It is posted in the first post, and there are versions for mac, windows, linux.

First to confirm, you have AT&T Atrix you have unlocked with Pudding.rar ?

Other users who have screwed up their touchscreen or cpu mhz have recovered by writing a new /pds partition manually using 'dd'. If this sounds beyond you, please come to #moto-atrix on freenode IRC (there is a webchat) for guidance. This thread will have the pds.img you can try to use for recovery:

So, I fixed the problem by flashing the 1.8.3 sbf....

I was on Gingerblur 4.5 at the time when I had unlocked my device and tried to install Gingerbread.

Now my phone is back to 1.8.3...still unlocked...but not rooted anymore, correct?

The windows32 fastboot...can I use that on my 64bit operating system? I tried it. And it was also a fail.

Don't run it, you have to open a command prompt that leads to it. You could just shift+right click inside the folder where moto-fastboot is and choose "Open command window here"

OK. I did that...it says "waiting for device" does it usually take a long time to see the device? My phone is plugged in and on fastboot protocol support right now...

EDIT::

Sorry...apparently a driver was missing? Weird because I had unlocked my phone on the same laptop without a driver problem...all is well now. Thanks for the help Layzee!

Anybody can share how to root this? I am trying to edit a file

/system/etc/ppp/peers/pppd-ril.options

so that I can use the sim I use for my iphone. From another thread, I am using ES File Explorer but everytime I try to save the file it says it error while saving it. Probably needs a super user account to change the file.

What is fastbootnfriends used for? This is not required to be in the same folder as moto-fastboot to flash an .img is it? Sorry, for my ungodly noobness, haven't used moto-fastboot yet. Thanks

I'm sorry. I'm new to this forum and I don't know where to post my question at. Can anyone please guide me to the correct page if I posted this to a wrong forum?

I'm in California and I have an Motorola Atrix with AT&T and I just unlocked my phone because I'm about to switch to T-mobile...

Now, my friend told me AT&T and T-Mobile has different 4G network. He said the AT&T Atrix can not use 3G or 4G speed on a T-Mobile network, It can only go up to Edge speed.... Is that true? Does anyone know about this? Please guide me to a correct forum...

ok im a retard and was following this thread
"[ROM & FIX] (fastboot) 2.3.4 OrangeFR (Jul5: 4.5.2A-11) w/ RAM fix for Intl. unlocked" in atrix android development and of course forgot to do the ram fix before flash on my international atrix and now im stuck in a bootloop but i have fastboot access so any ideas on how to get out of it D:?

thank you for your time as i know its not nice dealing with n00bs
