[HOWTO] Phone not responding at all - last chance to repair

wow! shaking the phone really worked! seems kind of stupid but thanks to you all at the xda forum for tips and tricks

Now unbricked. Strangely kdz updater only saw my phone after shaking!!!

Solution is using of supported operating system, and it seems that most better in this case is using of Windows XP, 32bit. Anyway I have Win7 64bit Home Premium and it works fine (I used KDZ_UPD for 2 times).

I tried in Windows XP and Windows 7 and still got the same result. I've installed Visual Studio with no success. I'm running out of ideas, please help guys.

Again my problem is when I boot up my LG-P500 it only goes to the LG logo then it turns off. It wont enter in the Android logo and I cant access the Recovery Mode only the Emergency Mode.

This happened when I tried to backup my phone using ROM manager, when the program ran my phone turned off then here we are.

And did you tried switch mode of flashing in KDZ_UPD (DIAG => EMERGENCY => CS_EMERGENCY)?

I tried that one too.

Is there a chance I'm using the wrong .kdz file?
I tried V10A_00.kdz, V10D_11.kdz, and V10F_07.kdz with no luck.

I'm in the Philippines. I tried the [ROMS] Original LG Firmware list but I cant seem to get the Philippines link to work.

I want to fix this before Monday. Please help.

For now.... I haven't. If you fully follows all steps, I have no idea what way we should go. Try search on google for error that you get. I will try think up something.

So, download KDZ_FW_UPD again.

Make back up of original LGMobileDL.dll file, and copy file from c:\Users\All Users\LGMOBILEAX\B2C_Client\LGMobileDL.dll (win7) into KDZ_FW_UPD folder end replace original one. And try.

As next possibility you can try use of attached dll

After few research over the internet, I found the method to repair it.

3) connect the phone
4)start KDZ and select type:3GQCT and phonemode:emergency
5)select your software version
6) launch software update
PS: try not to move your phone during this procedure

I was feeling lucky and managed to install a battery mod on my Optimus One without backing up. I was still able to access the storage via Droid Explorer and adb, but the method via emergency mode is much easier for restoring and installing firmware. I can now try any custom ROM without being afraid to brick my phone. Thanks for the guide.

I want to understand what are the causes of my "brick" ..
This is what happened: Using WIN7

I downloaded the file of the original ROM from xda-forum.
KDZ I downloaded and installed all drivers too.
KDZ launched as an administrator.
Follow the guide started it all, but after a couple of seconds everything stopped, phone still in EmergencyMode.
I removed the battery and the phone will not turn on.

Why other users came into EmergencyMode ... and I can not, after the "brick"?
