one more tipp for all the people that stuck on android boot screen

its easy to fix , run the kdz updater again as admin on windows 7 select the cs emergency mod then wait till your phone turns off and the batterie starts to load in 1 or 2 minutes your screen should tell you done.

then press volume down and home and power like if u would go to custom recovery then android is gonna restore the full package of the system then reboot your phone and it works again.

FYI, I just received a call from the store and my phone came back from LG service.

It was completely bricked, It wouldn't turn on/show any signal of life; they replaced main board, so basically i got a new phone with new IMEI code.

I had same problem in kdz "Port -1 Phone not found"

I solved using fastboot instead adb (doesn't work). I download original recovery and do: fastboot original_file...
Now work!!!!

i sort of bricked my phone by downgrading from phillipine v10e to a v10c (i dont know what country i got it from. we dont have a v10c for philippines). I got an error with lparam =100 and wparam = 500. i got it back to work by flashing back the philippine v10e.

Here's the thing. how hould i do a successful downgrade?

I got my phone back from LG service after 3 days. though, I got problems after they fixed mine. I can't seem to get the phone into usb mode/usb debugging mode and the screen does not sleep by itself. I need to push the power button to make it sleep.

Now i can't even download apps from the market. >_<

I'll try to go back there and let them check on the phone again later this day.

Send it back, same happened with me after the repair, so i sent it again [2nd time] and they repaired it.

It's a hardware related failure!

After bricking my phone, the LG service repaired it due to warranty.

I got my phone back with a new PCB [replaced PCB] and noticed that:

1) Screen wasnt turning off automatically no matter the 15sec interval i've set up!
2) No usb connection on PC, it was completely off! Even with the KDZ updater.
3) When phone was de-activated, if i put the charger on it was opening up, requesting PIN [if sim was on] or just going to homescreen !!!! Phone couldnt be OFF while charging no way!
4) Slow charging

I got it back immediately, and after a waiting of 15 days [+7 from previous service] i got it back fully functioning properly!
Total waiting till bricking moment: 22 days.

thanks! got my phone right away. The tech told me that he just had to do a factory reset (home+vol down+ power). after we checked, it was already working... weird...

I tried to do factory reset but nothing
I even flashed another firmware !!!!! Nothing again... so i took at service again.

The tech guy did a factory reset in front of your eyes and worked fine?
If not, maybe he did something else....

yup, he did that. The service center at our place was small that you could see everything they do in there. He asked me if it was ok to do a factory reset, and i said yes. He did the factory reset at the counter and after that, he wanted me to retest it. screen slept after 15 seconds, and we also checked the usb mode through the pc near the counter. was working too. That's nice. On my P500 didnt have luck... It couldnt work properly with reset or different firmware so i sent it back at LG again :/

So we all got back our bricked phones repaired!

lol.. i got the ROM working but I had no data connection so I tried to flash it again with a different ROM.. this time it got reaallly bricked.. wont even switch on.. :S

KDZ_FW_UPD doesn't work (Application cannot start) -.- Using Windows 7 64bit version.

//edit: allright tried another pc (win xp 32bit) and yeah - it worked... I'm so happy.
