dnt tell me i stuffed it lol.. humm.. it was hard cutting that out too.. aint all the micro usb's the same ? cant u just tell me were the wires were on the pins too begin with
Well it would be the two pins on the right of the picture of the first picture you posted.
In the second picture, I'm not sure since I can't tell which direction is the top of the connector.

Yes, that's correct if the top of the connector is the side where the yellow number 3 is.
yeh now just have to learn how to solder haha and have to buy the resisters too confirm does this boot a non download samsung galaxy into download mode or only work for those who have it enabled ? cuz mine could never do it from the start since i got it ..

It worked on mine. I couldn't get into download mode using the hardware keys and ended up bricking the phone while trying to flash a new ROM using Odin. This allowed me to get back into download mode to reflash the ROM.

You might want to see if you can buy wire leads that would fit onto the pins. I don't know if they make them small enough but if they did, you could possibly avoid soldering.

There isn't a chip there, that is what the back of some connectors look like (including the car charger I pulled apart last week to solder a bridge from d+ to d- to make the handset charge properly rather than trickle charge).

You have the wrong bootloader on your phone now so I don't know if it will work. If you do get into download mode it would be best to try to replace the bootloader with the correct version using this method before flashing anything else.

I'm ordering SKU 48640 from dealextreme to get a plug. It is a micro USB charger adapter cable.

The interesting thing is that the connector cover (on the one in the picture at least) is a hard plastic clamshell with external lips. It should be easy to open.

In this photo the resistor is already on pins 4 and 5, they are on that side of the plug (side closest to the earphone socket).
thats wat i thought first but then i looked again they on 1 and 2 cuz if u turn the fone around pins 4 and 5
have nothing attatched to them.. i also have 2 more micro usb male a ports and they dont have pins 1 and 2 visable and they are closet to the ear piece ... humm..

CAN SOME ONE POST A VIDEO OF THIS BEING DONE !! ITS confusing me and i dnt wanna solder anything till i see it done thnx
