[HOWTO] Upgrade to marshmallow, dowgrade to ZV6, and Fix Status 2

I'm having issues with each tot zv6 and zv9 and my lgup does not show refurbish,the phone boots but every time it ask for my google account it start the setup all over not even wiping in recovery works

I just wanted to say that this procedure worked 98% flawlessly for me. I was able to get my Sprint LG G4 go from ZVA to ZV6. The nerve-wrecking part was Step 9, when it restarted but stayed on the "LG Life's Good" screen. The buttons were unresponsive. I took a chance and popped open the back to remove the battery. Counted to 30 and put the battery in, pressed the power + volume down button to go into recovery, selected factory reset. Phone restarted perfectly into ZV6.

I am having the status 2 error after having to flash ZVB TOT with LGUP. Tried flashing again in LG Flash tool, and I get the error " _prepareAfterDload download 00000064" Just realized that the model that shows up in LGFlash Tool is MSM8994 vs LS991

im on zva loaded lg up, phone is recognized(LS991 ZVA) put zv6 tot file in and it progresses to 9% and get error code = 0x2000, tot file length verify any help appreciated where i messed up would be appreciated. ps loaded lg drivers before this on pc.

Well guys i was having problems as most of you guys saw on the the unoffical TOT thread but thanks to @autoprime for mentioning LG UP i was finally been able to get past status 2

ATTENTION: DO NOT TRY TO FLASH BACK FROM ZVB TO ZVA OR BELOW BECAUSE OF A NEW ANTIROLL BACK PATCH.. AGAIN IF YOU DO YOU WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE

Requriements:
-LG UP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
- TOT Files:
Android Lolipop 5.1 ZV6 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-g4/development/restore-sprint-lg-ls991-zv6-tot-t3213196

Steps to downgrade
1. First download and install LG UP from the thread BOTH MSI files.
2. Now put your phone into download mode via holding down the volume + and plugging it in to the usb.
3. Fire up LG UP and at first it may say UNKNOWN on the window so what you wanna do is disconnect and reconnect wait a few seconds and it should work.
4. Now it should say LS991 and select it and click ok
5. Now on the window select your ZV6 TOT FILE and select UPGRADE
6. On the bottom of the window there should be three dots click on them and find your tot file.
7. Click start.
8. After that your phone should start progressing
9, Should restart and work.
10. If it dosent make sure you factory reset!! (Hold down volume down and the power button and power then go the factory reset and wipe it)

To fix status 2 error
Thanks to @autoprime
1. flash zv6 and get stuck at blue screen.
2. power off phone and close lgup.
3. boot into download mode again.
4. this time.. instead of using LGUP.. use LG Flash method.
5. make sure you set LG Flash to use "Board DL" at the bottom of the screen where u select dll and tot.
6. should be able to flash either zv6 or zv9 using LG Flash (with Board DL option).
