Same problem here with an htc hero....
Do you think I can flash the legend mtd0.img on my device ???

He it say that you need a "rooted" phone to be able to do this. But my legend has a stock rom. So I am not able to go further then the "fastboot oem enableqxdm 0" part. The phone itself works and all. Its just that the connection between the pc and phone is not working. Am I doomed?

i have htc legend and same problem and i have rooted my device but try 10 hours with this steps i have rom manger and connectbot and i can read my sd card but i cant do this steps... are any one got succes with this steps plz any one help me ... by upload video for correct way plz plz help me i have just got my legend today from DHL and now i have big problem plz help help F1 F1 F1 F1 F1

if your CID is different than in mtd0.img edit file with an hexeditor

you have fastboot and adb on your computer?

connect phone to usb (phone on i regular mode)

run command: (from your computer) (cmd, in windows)

adb reboot bootloadader

when it has boot

fastboot oem boot

What does your output say?

to match your number

i have a htc hero, i followed the step but instead of mtd0.img from legend i used misc.img from hero stock rom but no success, i still don't have access to sd card through usb cable, bluetooth works, any help?

when i got to the cat /sdcard/mtd0.img > /data/mtd0.img "type enter" it said:
"No such file or directory" say what?
please help me

After i tryed to flash the SyanDra V1.0 rom, my legend gott brick'd.
Thanks to this guide im back up with a new rom.. Ty ty ty ty
