I was able to unlock my bootloader via fastboot (using the tegra note 7 oem unlock commands). My s7e rebooted and everything was working normally. I loaded the bootloader again to go in and do a cache wipe and my 3 year old bumped into me as I was holding down the volume+ and power buttons and I ended up tapping the volume- at the same time. Now I'm stuck in ADX mode (black screen but recognized by my pc, have tried connecting to charger, volume+ and power, volume - and power, nothing works) . I've read that Advent has released apx files for the Vega Note 7 and you can use Tegra Note 7 Super Tools to restore the Nvidia Note 7. I downloaded those and used the Nvidia APX Forced Flash with Serial Fix found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nvidia-tegra-note-7/general/nvidia-tegra-note-7-apx-images-t3149839 but nvflash hangs at the chip uid before trying the serial fix error I got the invalid serial number error.
I have read that some other devices can be recovered from APX mode by removing the battery and plugging the tablet up and letting it boot fully before replacing the battery. I might try this but the battery is soldered on.
Does anyone have any other software fixes that I can try?
