Nice job. The device config XML file is being managed within the HiSuite sideload extension (patch). In case your additional modification was successful and increased range of supported devices, which seems so, best would be that extension maintainers (I maintain HSTool only) merge your changes.
@mikeos, may i know is that still safe for me to use HSTool_1.0.1 to upgrade my phone firmware to 9.0.0.222 ? Anyway, thanks for helping the community by provide us such a amazing tools.
I recommend to get the newest version from OP.
As I mentioned here already 1.0.1 has few bugs, one of them causes problems (crash) with flashing of newest firmware packages. I see no reason for using old HSTool (no benefit).
now updatetd to 211 and then 222....my problem was that i had to block network with the # way and not disconnect and reconnect network..........all running good now
@dajumper, agreed with u, yesterday i almost start to flash but never, tday 222 came out, i can't stop myself from trying anymore, now in the mid of flashing using HSTool_1.2.1, i wonder tml what version with appearMaybe tomorrow 230
