HTC 10 Root on s-on and locked bootloader?

I was looking around and found this (https://xdaforums.com/verizon-htc-10/development/rom-1-85-605-9-aroma-root-root-debloat-t3529732), my question is that my HTC 10 is 100% unmodified with stock recovery, firmware, boot and download mode, can I flash the anything provided to attain root? Is the link helpful in any way?
P.S I'm from Pakistan so I can't ship the phone to Sunshine, and the phone is on Oreo latest update

If it's a Verizon unit (you're in a Verizon thread), no. There's nothing you can do.

Yes it's a Verizon unit, even if I can't attain root can i at least debloat? via adb or anything, apologies for sounding so noob, because I'm not so familiar with locked phones

Also, will there be any possibility of rooting the Verizon unit, I haven't tried the Kingroot and all that kind of stuff, will it work?

No. Unless you can mail the device to the Sunrise crew, you are completely out of luck. And I am not sure if even that works once the device is on Oreo.

You can dowgrade to marsmallow or nougat using RUU, follow this guide

Then you can use Sunshine, download the app, and follow the instructions, you can gain s-off and unlock bootloader, flash any custom recovery and then gain root, using Magisk. Before you can update to Oreo

You cannot downgrade without s-off.
