No issues with sound here, but don't use Exchange so not tried. I did do a full wipe after flashing an update mind - not that that should have any effect but as it's not my daily device I don't mind wiping it

EDIT: Double-checked sound, SMS tone had reset but other sounds were saved without issues. Strange

If your on elevate can u report as a potential bug?

I use exchange for my work email all my settings saved after upgrade so no problems here

If u cnage the update frequency then reboot does it stick?

Thanks, its one of the bugs that's annoying me in ics, all other settings stay just not the update frequency

Thank god, I thought I was the only one! I'm on the .3 version.

I have 2 Exchange accounts, one is Hotmail, the other university mail. The Hotmail settings don't get saved, the settings of the other account do. So I think it's a Hotmail related problem!

I also have the sound settings bug. Already did a factory reset

Maybe, I still think its HTC as was fine on gingerbread, moving to ics problem emerged

Perhaps ICS does something different with Exchange that Hotmail haven't updated to? I still think it's a Microsoft issue myself

Hotmail isn't Exchange. Remember that. And never been.

You can have it run off an Exchange ActiveSync setup though

What's the point, I already re created the XE ROM from the .5 base
The code determining if it is an XE or not is contained in the ext.jar widget.jar and framework.jar files, all other files aside from some XE only libs are the same and the libs from the previous XE base work perfectly with the .5 base
