I take absolutley no credits for this! It's a modified/rewritten version of Lexmazter's XL Multi Tool v1.8. I just rewrote it so that it works for EVO 3D

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for bricked devices.

Download:
http://www.multiupload.nl/S1Z8KS4YVD

Features:
Get the HTCdev code for bootloader unlock
Get/change your CID
Flash recovery

Feel free to suggest more features and I'll add them if possible

Root Guide using this tool:
1. Download and install HTC USB driver from here http://goo.gl/WzRNK
2. Enable USB debugging. Settings -> Development
3. Unlock your bootloader from the HTCdev site http://htcdev.com/. Follow every step! There's a shortcut to get the HTCdev code in Evo 3D Multi Tool
4. Enter hboot menu
You can get to hboot by pulling out the battery, then hold down lower volume button and the power button until hboot menu is up. Move around in hboot using the volume buttons and select the marked option by pressing the power button
5. Navigate to fastboot and press the power button
6. Open Evo 3D Multi Tool and choose Flash Recovery
7. Choose ClockworkMod or 4eXT. I recommend 4eXT because you won't need S-OFF to flash your boot partition. It has SmartFlash (More info here)
8. Download Super User and put the .zip file in the root of the SD card http://downloads.androidsu.com/superuser/Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip
9. Enter hboot menu
10. Select Recovery
10a. In 4eXT, select "install from sdcard" and navigate the Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip
10b. In ClockworkMod select "apply update from sdcard" and navigate the Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip
You are now rooted with an unlocked bootloader!

If you want to S-OFF then follow this guide: http://unlimited.io/juopunutbear.htm

I'm glad to hear that :) If someone wants me to and if I get time I'll make it work for Linux and Mac too
This is one of the greatest tool ever.. you can pimp up the tool.. and this should be made sticky.. if a way to get unlock, bin be found without registering to htcdev.. this would be 1 click unlocking and rooting tool. :)

havent checked this myself but http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1343114 seems to have a similar tool..
