thankfully you saved my PRL swapping instructions.... heck after redoing my rom I needed my own instructions again for the different PRL's... ;) guess that's why I put them in the wiki so I could always find them if I needed them again.

Okay, I might be making myself look foolish for asking, but do the tweaks listed on the wiki require that your phone be rooted?
You don't look foolish at all! The answer is yes and no, some tweaks do, and some don't such as the ability to change out PRL and improve call quality...and it sounds like the tethering out of the box tweak will also work without root.

Would there possibly be a way to get which tweaks require root and which don't labeled as such? Or maybe have them broken apart to a list of "Requires Root" and "Doesn't Require Root" for the reader to know before trying?

I'm brand new to xda, and thanks so much to ALL contributors/developers/supporters for the comprehensive information. I'm a Linux user (Debian/UE/Ubuntu Derivatives), and have had the pleasure of being introduced to Android with an HTC Incredible.

Rooted, Custom Kernel, and now in the process of flashing these lovely ROMs.

My favs so far: MIUI + Incredibly Re-Engineered!! The sleekness and efficiency of both are impressive. :D:cool:;)

I'm debating whether or not to try this myself. Thinking about it since I have been having issues with decreasing call quality. If nothing else, I'm sure I can just change it back (or at very least reflash stock rom) and then be good to go...or so I hypothesize. haha. If I decide to do it, I'll let you two know how it goes for me.
