Editing AndroidManifest.xml alone, you'll get the not refreshing widget when you select play, pause & so on. You need to edit a few smali code.

Are you guys talking about these Music & Music widget version ?

On all CM based Nougat roms the HTC Music Widget is crashing for me.

updated both app and widget in OP of the main thread. they are both working on a LG stock rom, let me know if those work for you.

yeah.. was playing with them yesterday when I saw this thread talking about it. actually I thought that htc stopped updating its htc music app and they were using play music instead. seeing it again reminded me of old desire x and one sv ( @old.splatterhand) days with the old music channel

I tried the apks, that @xpirt posted. The widget works just fine, but the Music apk can not be installed - it says the package conflicts with an existing package by the same name. ( I have uninstalled the previous version, and have disabled the google play music )

Check @xpirt thread, I have posted an APK which works on my phone. Hope it'll work on yours too ?

The Camera app that I'm using on CypherOS save pics on sdcard.
You can try it if you want to .. I'll put a screenshot when I'm on PC later.

no it doesn't work on mine either. I guess @xpirt removed this feature so the app stays compatible with non-sense frameworks. It's ok for me as I don't really use it though.
