HTC Notifications

Hi, I've always had HTC. The most annoying acid is the WhatsApp, messanger, and ect notification number. I always have to open applications to disappear the number. Is there a simple way to remove swipe?

There is no way at the moment but when oreo is released there is meant to be an option to stop badges appearing.
