htc one a9 camera problem

htc one a9 very slowly camera/ change option very slowly /

my girlfriend has the same problem and it's only started recently.
factory reset restores it, but soon breaks due... early days, but we think it's an update breaking things (not sure which one)

This started happening to me today. I used my camera yesterday without a problem, and the only thing I did today is a Play Store update of one of the 'HTC' internal apps. I believe it's 'HTC Service - HTC PNS'.

So glad that it's not just me.

Hi,
Had the same problem on my A9, contacted HTC, just remove/downgrade the app "HTC Speak" then it will work properly again.
They are working on it

Even Me aslo...the exact same problem... i updated my apps from play store yesterday and now today when i checked my camera is very very slow... please give a solution for this..

I was having the same problem but dont think i have updated anything recently - might have been an auto update - anyway just uninstalled htc speak and hey presto camera is perfect again - thanks everyone.......

just go to the 3 wee dots above the icons and press that, it will give you the option to uninstall

if htcspeak already uninstalled then it may help to clear caches

hi, ive uninstalled the speak app but the camera still wont do anything or if it does its about a minute delay. is there anything else that can be done please?
