I'm using 7-zip Link

Directions
1. Right click on selected .zip file desired
2. Find "7-zip" is available with selected options
3. Find "Open Archive" not the first one second one with an arrow
4. Select "zip"
5. It opens the zip file you can drag and drop any files

Then that means the zip wasnt encrypted.

[EDIT]
Which Zip did you open? The one listed in the first post cannot be opened with 7zip.

They are technically but there's a method to open the archives properly tried with windows extract and the usual extract didn't work until this method ;)

Ok. Truth be told, that method gets to a few more images but its missing System and is only 446Mb big.
Anyhow. This means - if this isn't a big mistake on HTC's side - they gave us a means of having firmware without getting to the System image easily.... either smart as f*ck or dumb as sh!t.

One of the zips is always unecrypted. It was the same with HTC One M8.

Yeah correct. Although on the M8 it used to be the dzdata zip part that was unencrypted. No other firmware parts.

I'm gonna need to have a full decrypted rom.zip to look at and compare to this 7zip unpack. Would be nice to see the whole firmware laying there open and ready to be taken... :D

If you look correctly, your zips will show more. ;)

PS. Same works with 4.16.401.10.

This is how to read the full version string for whom it might interest.... like stated in countless places on XDA.

    Example: 1.32.401.15
1 = Android Base Identifier, changes with every Android rebase.
32 = HTC's software build number, Sense etc., starts at 0 again after the Android Base Identifier ups 1.
    401 = Carrier/Region identifier there's a full list available HERE
15 = "bugfix" revision of HTC's build number, starts at 0 again once the build number ups.

If we only see for instance jumps from 1.32.401.8 to 1.32.401.15, those 7 revisions in between have just not been made available to the public, probably dismissed as testing fails or just not being leaked/pushed to consumer devices.

If the Carrier/Region identifier has a prefix of "90" like eg. 90401, the software is a HTC internal testing build and has had no clearance for push to customers. Should you find such a version online, its better not to spread it further because HTC doesn't like to see them in the wild.

Those softwares with that longer revision number are like said in the posts before, for demo units HTC is using on press events and marketing.

    Requests for Sir @djluisbento ;)

1.32.206.15 RUU with or without ARUWizard, please.
1.32.401.15 RUU with or without ARUWizard, please.

I thought I had seen the 401.15 RUU.zip somewhere in the Forum already but I can't find it for the life of me so I guess I must have read wrong the other night.
If you could maybe try to get hold of those two RUU's that'd be totally awesome. Thanks.

Additionally, it would be very nice to get 1 ARUWizard structure at least so we can start looking at it and compare it to last year's version 2.0.16.2014 - I'd like the full thing that extracts to /temp after the RUU.exe is launched. With all secondary files going along with it. If possible. I think quite a few people are looking for it. I know @LeeDroid, @Behold_this and @herwegan have asked for it.

Thank you so much for what you are offering here, Sir. Much appreciated!

Guys if you don't mind, keep checking M9 folder on androidruu.com - files are coming in now.

    http://androidruu.com/?developer=M9

I am also trying to fill up the M8 folder but my ftp connection is very bad. It might be a while.
@djluisbento please do contact Alex on AFH and upload your files there when you get any fresh ones, so they can be added to the M9/M8 folders. That would be really cool of you if you can do that. Thanks.
