Or just link to the official HTC page...which doesn't mention 4G anywhere in the spec list, only DC-HSDPA
The Global site lists different specs. And it's interesting the AT&T variant isn't listed as the One's specs show all the carrier-specific bands.

And the Moto X is actually smaller, at least in length, than either the SGS4 Mini (4.9") and One Mini (5.2").

looking at the phones compared to eachother its hilarious they're doing this.

-the phones almost look identical in size.
-htc one was released just a little bit ago. these phones come out so often its ridiculous.
-im fine with my htc one.

The One and One mini are similar in height, but the big reduction comes in width. That makes just as big a difference as height does. Just look at how different the Note 2 feels compared to the Note 1.

Has anyone considered that maybe HTC is planning on selling this phone extremely cheap and not requiring a 2 year upgrade? Like what google did with the Nexus! They might price this at $250-$300!

LOL, they have priced it at $550
Yeah I found out right after that post. HTC deserves to go bankrupt for stuff like this.

I think more developers need to release more flagship devices with midrange specs and sell it at a lower price point. Some people want to buy a decent phone but don't want to spend $600 for it.

It doesnt need the best specs. Only midranged, but treat it as a flagship and a device that matters!

I'd rather buy a Nexus 4 for $300. Rumor is the Moto X will hit a low price point too.

Rumour is that Google subsidises the Nexus 4 to the tune of $300+ - there's no way that HTC can compete with that.

Camera issue

Is the camera so bad as the first reviews said it is? It's a good idea not to compete in megapixels, but 4MP seems too low for a phone. I mean if it was a nikon it would make phantastic 4MP images, but I think it would have been better to stay with a standard 8MP. Or they may have just messed up something. I love the design of this phone and I wanted to buy it until I heard the problems with the image quality. No wonder they published a software improvement, but that's not enough!

I have the One (not Mini) and love the camera. It's much better than I expected. It was one of the hangups I had before buying it too because I use my phone as my main camera but I've been nothing but pleased with this since May. The ONLY thing that sucks about it that it doesn't do well to crop photos (because it's only 4MP) but for low light situations (indoors, outdoors at night or dusk) and HDR there is nothing better.

Would it not really depend on the price. At $350 it's a good phone, at $450 it will fail.

If htc don't want to include micro sd card slot it should at least have a 32gb memory for this phone!
