I got mine and it developed hairline cracks that arent that noticable. however i got it replaced and after 3 days the new set also started getting cracks.
It doesnt bother me as it is a very nice and handy phone. camera works great and everything is without any glitches. i dont notice the tiny cracks anymore .

My only regret is buying the phone for $400+ when it first came out. As soon as the One Mini 2 was released, it's priced dropped to just over $100. Such a waste, especially knowing that it only performs marginally better than the One S I used to use. But at least I avoided the mini 2. It too is a marginal improvement and somehow managed to get just as big as the original One M7. Why do they insist on calling that "mini"?!

I'm getting an Xperia Z3 compact after I finish paying for my wedding. Hopefully, the price will have dropped on it a little by then too. I'm never paying full price again!

Using the phone for 8mo now, black version... Isn't rooted yet (will wait for lollipop update and then will see what will i do with the phone) Complaints -
* Very Low free space(the only one 16gb version has 12.83gb of usable space) after setting up my phone i struggle to keep free 1gb of free space and constantly need to delete or copy photos/video or files elsewhere to have some space on the phone.

* The body paint job isn't great, i have been using the phone with the s-line TPU case and screen protector from the day i got it, but from some sand crystals which got behind the case the paint on the back has gone away and the back is looking ugly like i even didn't use any case. For Sensation i used the same type of case and this problem only started to appear when using the phone for 2years and more.

* And don't get me started about the shh... main camera. downgraded 4 ''ultrapix'' is a massive joke that is ONLY somewhat view-able in the phone 4.3'' screen because it IS DOWNGRADED and it's not the same as the big brother's has (M7 or M8) See the picture test comaprison here
In comparison It's lacking the clarity and the sensor detail, and because its only 4m/u pix this is seen right away, so the camera sensor inside is much much MUCH cheaper that the big brothers has, even if it should be ''the same'' 4upix camera!
From day1 i had took like 100s of pics but i only had managed to take few good looking pics that turned out ok and those pics can be view-able on any bigger screen, every other pic is a total ****** that cannot be view-able in larger screen than the phones.
( i know that any phone camera isnt 'pro' camera, but now im not comfortable to show to ppl any pics i took from this phone to big screen! with sensation's 13mpix i was showing pics to my friends/family on larger TV screen like a boss, now with this im showing only on the phones screen cuz on 42'' 1080p TV screen, 4mpix resolution pic isn't a view-able picture but its a color palette :D )

My conclusion -
If my sensation didn't broke so fast i would wait for one mini 2 price to drop(it was just released) from overpriced 'new' phone price tag to normal price tag and buy it, but my senny died fast and i was forced to buy a new phone, 'mini' had a sweet deal in my country so im stuck with this for now.
If you are considering of buying 'one mini' version now then most definitely choose mini 2! It is much much better with ok 13mpix main camera that isn't shy of bigger screens in any pic taking situations, better front facing camera, expandable SD card so you wouldn't worry abut free space, build-in NFC, and better battery life.

Well i've had a good year with the phone now.
What is said above is all true, i have the same points.
Tho i like to add to that, the ram on this phone is just too low.. Eventually lately i started noticing it, that even after fresh rom install, it took only a short time (with like 15 apps max installed, outside the stock apps) before the same issues of Sense nonstop rebooting, apps closing in the middle of typing etc etc.. the ram just isn't sufficient anymore with the apps these days.

So i've upgraded:

Take care all and thank you for those that put hard work in creating roms for this little machine :good:

Now that I've got my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, it's easy to see just how under powered the one mini really was! It was basically a nicer looking one S from 4-5 years ago. I love HTC phones, but they're just too big now. I've moved on and I'm not looking back!
