So my problem is next : My friend showed me his HTC One Mini device stucked in bootloader. I tryed factory reset, but that's just booting in bootloader again. I asked him if the battery drained out when updating, and he told me he that's kinda happend, so i said izi task, installing new firmware and will be as good as new!
Then I spended 2 long days on internet trying to fix this, btw I think I know everything about this brand now (jk, I don't know
).
I tryed all, but every time I opened a door, I crushed in many more of them. So here is what I did in chronological order :
1) Tryed to instal custom recovery so I can install Custom ROM.
BUT
Soooo next I googled this problem, and I saw that bootloader needs to be unlocked.
2) There I go. Created account on htcdev. All steps worked for me, except the last one. No pop up shows to confirm that I want tu unlock it.
BUT always is a BUT
Looks all god, isn't it? What is sad. Sad is that the phone still looks like this :
Yap, no popup screen. So saaaaaad
3) I read on some forum that I can install custom firmware if the tevice is S-OFF.
But another sad thing, I also read that the bootloader needs to be unlocked in order to get S-OFF.
My life is like this phone, locked in a loop. I try to install custom rom need to unlock. Cant unlock need to get s-off. Can't get S-OFF cause my device need 2 be unlocked.
Soooo I move forward. I found this piece of software,
but it needs the phone to have "use usb debugging " or something like this, AAAAAND OF COURSE IS NOT.
Every gate that I found had another 3 or 4 locked doors after. Please help me. Is kinda my reputation in game. I don't recive money, is my friend. Is just that's the first thing I can't repair, and that hurts. Im like the guy who knows everything and this is embarrassing.
Also I looked in Device Manager to see how does my PC recognize the phone. Before installing HTC sync was recognizing it, but said no drivers available. And showed up like "Android 1.0 device".
After I installed the drivers it looked like this.
I go even deeper and I found this :
