HTC Rhyme (Bliss) ICS 4.0.3 Sense 3.6 Full Root

Hi all,

I finaly got working android ICS 4.0.3 with Sense 3.6 on my girlfriend's HTC Rhyme.

Source ROM and Recovery is from Chinse site bbs.anzhi.com. Here si link to ROM http://bbs.anzhi.com/thread-5424057-1-1.html

Geting something from this site is little confusing , you have to register, them wait 10 minutes, after it post reply to thread where you want see download links. Some files (big rom zip file) is hosted on 115.com service, which is another fight to get something from it .

I have istalled rom about 1 day and it seems to be very stable, fast and clean. Memory footprint is 100MB smaller that original rom. So I have free up to 230MB!!!. I had no mandatory issues with this rom.

One litle problem is, that I can't manage google account, because in settings->accounts and sync isn't option to add/manage google account, but I can simple add is via Play.

So let's go on

1. Step
Unlock your bootloader via HTCdev.com

2.step
flash boot.img and recovery.img

path/to/fastboot flash boot path/to/boot.img
path/to/fastboot flash recovery path/to/recovery.img

3.step
reboot to recovery, do full wipe (format cache, data, system partitions) and install bliss_signed_7.zip from sd card.
Optionaly flash gapps.zip downloaded from http://goo.im/gapps/ I use latest ics gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip
reboot

thats all.

if you don't know how to istall/use fastboot, you teach it while you do bootloader unlock on htc site.

After boot, setup wizard started and you can select English lang.

Download files here http://bliss.ikfsystems.sk and don't forget to check md5sums.

This procedure works for me, but may not for you. You do this at your own risk.

thanks a lot for your effort. i am a little afraid to flash this rom and i guess i'll wait a little while for the official update. could you share some later impression on how the device performs compared to gingerbread?

Device work very well, my girlfriend use it several days. device is much more faster, smoother. She said that it 2 times rebooted while listening music. My tracks app by google inc. FCs. No other issues yet.

Do you flash boot.img too and checked md5 sums? I has also this problem and flashing boot.img solved it.

EU ICS update

heyy.... i flashed the rom its good .... is it possible u can make the same zip of the EU based rom that has been leaked?? i tried the RUU it isnt upgrading and evn tried pullin the zip file frm it n flashing thru bootloader but nthn happens xcept it juss reads the zip file ... please help , thnks in advance

Can't download the rom.

Also, the chinese filehost is a pain in the ass... even with Google Translator i can't understand how to download.
Someone can Mirror this for me. Cause the mirror from tio289 isn't working

I've just asked my gf.. there are 22 languages, but no Hungarian. (Official ICS EU RUU)

Can anybody re up the rom to any other site? I cant understand anything off that chinese site. And the other ''link'' containing the boot and recovery image does not include the rom. any help? i'm kind of in the middle of flashing this rom.
