Hi there

I'll like to know if there's a hardware difference between the two. When searching for "Z710e" it brings up both model colors. What are the differences between the black and white models?

thanks

There is not difference, all Sensations have the same hardware, regardless if it's white or black, unless it is branded a Sensation XE. They wouldn't be trying to pass off a Sensation XE as a Sensation...

There's been a huge influx of white Sensations lately. I just thought that perhaps it might be a new model/hardware revision. So there's really no difference besides the fact that the back housing is white instead of black?

The XE has:
1 A slightly larger battery (in mAH not physical size)
2 The processor is clocked to it's default 1.5Ghz

The Sensation has
1 A weaker battery than the XE
2 The processor is downclocked to 1.2Ghz due to the smaller battery

That's the real difference. The processor can be overclocked/underclocked to match whichever Sensation you don't have, and Beats is available in a variety of Sense roms for both the XE and the Sensation.

HTC handsets tend to have more choices of color available in Asia. The white and black ones are the same in both hardware and software. The only difference is the color.

Thanks for this information. Also, one more difference is the normal HTC Sensation lacks the Beats logo

I did not know this. I will be ordering the white one. It looks pretty nice
