Agreed, Sensation is the best handset on Tmo today (unless your handset has the touchscreen drag-ring problem).

More responsive, better looking, screen and cameras are much nicer, better software... it's no contest. I own both and use the Sensation, even when it has the horrible touchscreen problems (they usually clear up after a few seconds of frantic finger dragging but it makes it damned hard to answer a call).

isn't the camera on the mytouch4g slide suppose to be the best? better than sensation?

I was curious about that. This deal says you just have to be a member of the site studentrate for the discount, and since you don't have to be a student to be a member, I was thinking you'd still be eligible.
You don't have to be a student to get the student discounts??

Technically no. You can register on the site with any email address and if you call the #866 number for the T-Mobile deal, you just have to tell the rep you're a member of studentrate, for the 10% discount.
