so why are you here thenI have neither phone but the fact that Sensation owners are so touchy with the comparison says a lot from where I am sitting.
*Disclaimer: I do not not buy phones based on the 'antics' of phone owners on a forum.![]()

As I said in a previous post in this very threadso why are you here then
Correct me if i'm wrong but don't you have an iphone???? And as i can see you have all the "fashionable" smartphones! Now who is concerned with fashion???I didn't know so many people were this concerned with fashion! I think quite a few people in here would get on well with an iPhone.
I don't have them for that reason, like most people.Correct me if i'm wrong but don't you have an iphone???? And as i can see you have all the "fashionable" smartphones! Now who is concerned with fashion???![]()
Read your post. Respect your opinion as a fellow xda userDid you not read my post? I like the SGS2. Yes it's crazy powerful and it can cure cancer but, there isn't anything wrong with the Sensation. If there were, you and this other dude wouldn't be lingering over here. Odds are you either have it and wish it's plastic body didn't suck nuts, or you can't afford it and are just trolling because you don't have anything better to do. Either way that's pretty weak.
Note: Just because Sammy makes a lot of their components doesn't mean that they're the best. The SGS1 line didn't use Samsung NAND, and they also fudged it with RFS. GPS was balls, and touchwiz really truly sucks. Sense at least looks nice.
Note 2: Samsung didn't make the A4. A Subisidiary that Samsung used to own, developed the Hummingbird and the A4 and both share a similar architecture. In Every single benchmark the Hummingbird CPU that you say Samsung developed fell way behind every Snapdragon, and Ti CPU in processing power. The SGS1 series dominated the competition in 3D performance but it just so happens that it wasn't a GPU that the all mighty Samsung built, no. It was the PowerVR SGX540 made by Imagination Technologies.
Note 3: Samsung had zero to do with the A5. Stop spewing nonsense.
The only thing I wish this phone had was a SAMOLED+ qHD screen.
You're probably right....even though I secretly hope ur mistaken. :-D I hate when that happens. Why do phone manufactures do that?!To Samsung Fan boys here, why buy a SGS2 when an SGS2+ is around the corner in just a few months only. That will definitely beats SGS2....
Sensation is my Senses....
Your post was a breath of fresh air. No, I don't think I was taking it personally, but I was losing my patience a bit. Opinions are just that, and I do respect the opinions of others. I do however have little patience for comments like "this sucks, _____ is better, PWND!" with no substance behind it. I do apologize if I did come off a little harsh. The SGS2 is an amazing phone, but circumstances being what they are, I ended up going with the Sensation. Either way I don't think anyone could make a wrong choice between the two.Read your post. However, let me just check this. Irrespective of the phones we own, we're allowed to give our subjective opinion on different forums right? ;-) Afterall, here at xda, we all have an interest in a range of phones, right?
Some of your comments concern me. I do hope you're not taking these opinions on a what is merely 'a phone' as some form of personal dig. Its just opinion - all harmless subjective debate. Enjoy

No worries. Put in that context, I completely understand your comments now. Fairplay dude.Your post was a breath of fresh air. edit: I also hope you didn't think that my previous post was targeted at you; It was instead aimed at a couple lurkers who weren't participating in a proactive way. Negative comments are one thing, negative comments without merit are another.
And to HTC fanboys, if Samsung releases a SGS2+, HTC will release a Sensation II making the original Sensation just as obsolete. No phone is or ever will be future proof. To Samsung Fan boys here, why buy a SGS2 when an SGS2+ is around the corner in just a few months only. That will definitely beats SGS2....
Sensation is my Senses....
Indeed! My god, what is this?! People having a difference of opinion and yet acting like adults, I thought this was a forum? Well done chaps, its always a surprise when humanity restrains itself from descending on the lowest common denominator (this forum has enough of that as it is).
Yes. at stock the samsung galaxy is indeed the better choice. But honestly wait for HTC to work out the bugs on one of the most anticipated phones of 2011.. aside from that, once it's rooted and cyanogen gets it's hand on it and various other developers...it will only get better. I think ALOT of the Sensation's problems is mostly software based (aside from the so called death grip).. just my two cents.I am currently using the G2X but I will be purchasing the Sensation or the SGSII in the near future and then giving the G2X to my wife. I have been leaning more towards the GSII because it is noticeably more snappier in the UI (TouchWiz is now less intrusive than Sense). SGSII has hardware accelerated browsing which is obviously faster in video comparisons. It seems that the Sensation hasn't sold a fraction of what the SGSII sold but there are a ton of major issues popping up with the Sensation. I like the looks of the Sensation better and I like the fact that it is made of aluminum but I would go with function over form any day of the week. The SGSII's display has superior daylight performance. The battery is obviously better in the SGSII. Lastly, the graphics performance of the SGSII is better than the Sensation. I am leaning more towards the GSII but my patience is wearing thin. I don't know if I can wait another 2 months for it to get in the states but unless HTC solves some of these major bugs, I think I can wait it out.
Have you read the news yet?! there's no Sensation2 coming out, but SGS2+ is....And to HTC fanboys, if Samsung releases a SGS2+, HTC will release a Sensation II making the original Sensation just as obsolete. No phone is or ever will be future proof.
