HTC Sensation wont boot after custom ROM upgrade

Hi Team,

It all went wrong when i tryed to install a custom ROM on to my HTC sensation xe (darkforest)
When i switch it on, it goes to a screen that has a green HTC logo with a white background
and no further.
I have not got a clue what to do next so any help i can get will be greatly appreciated

What you are experiencing now is called a soft brick. There are a few ways you will be able to get out of this.

1) Hard reset.
2) Flash the stock firmware.

No need to panic, we can get this fixed.
But please ask someone to move this.

Just like Deftone said. Also u can chcek thread about the custom rom you are installing and find some info about the installation progress Step by step... maybe you've done somethin' wrong.

Hey Spook,

sorry for the late response.
No need to worry, we were all new once.
You will need to search in the "find your device search box (top right)
Then post in the qanda there.
I will report this thread for a move seeing as only MODS can move it.
Or you could PM a mod.

which custom recovery are you using and fif you fastboot flash the boot img of the new rom to your device?

ok, so what exactly step are you doing for installing the new ROM ?
did you install new firmware for installing darkforest custom rom?

as i see you are S-ON.then you have 2 options:
1)flash the boot.img manually of the rom.if you do not know how see here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631861 (extra 1)
2)if you are using 4ext recovery enable smartflash from recovery and then flash the rom again
if you don't have 4ext installed from the same link see step 2

Is their any instructions on how to get this up and running again

I am really struggling getting my sensation working.

The problem is that it does not bring up s storage icon on my pc for the HTC, and it fails to install the drivers....
