HTC Titan - Cases/Shells?

I've found a couple!

well, I bought an AT&T HTC Titan last Monday (was even able to take advantage of price protection, so the overall cost for my device was 0.01!)

I immediately went on ebay and found a couple of cases

http://www.ebay.com/itm/220900368135?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

This is a gel-type case. The fit is awesome, and the etched plaid looks nice. Access to the camera and power buttons are covered, but the button remains fairly easy to depress; the microusb/ battery port is open,so you never have to take the case off. The material gives the phone a plasticy-gel kinda feel and it seems as if it could absorb a little impact too. It does not cover the tiny raise around the edge of the screen shell like the rubber case does, but to me it has a better feel in the hand out of the two.

This is a 2-piece case, has a rubbery texture, and also allows for acess to all buttons (ironically, even the battery door button is accssible with this case on...wonder what that's about. )

I'm not sure about how this would fair on a drop. It does take a tiny bit of pressure to snap the two pieces together around the phone, but with cases like this, I imagine it popping right off once dropped. still, it seems as if it could absorb the initial impact of a drop. This case covers the tiny raised edge surrounding the edge of the screen for a little added protection.

Iwish I could take some pictures for you guys, but i don't have another camera at the moment. will try and take some later so you guys can see.

Still, for the price......and quality, you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal imo.

Hard shell

I had the Incipio hard shell for my Focus, they don't seem to have one for the Titan, I would like to have something like that. Any suggestions on a hard shell?

I just received a case-mate Tough case and Zagg shield. feeling REALLY confident my phone can take a drop or two...the two layer tough case is great, and takes little pressure to activate the buttons. (unlike the gel/tpu cases, which make me feel like I got girl hands cause I gotta use all sorts of pressure to get the buttons to depress)

great combo solution.

the case-mate "barely there" fits perfectly and I'm very happy with it. I went with the red one. It is a deep matte red that doesn't look flashy and goes perfect with my red on black theme.

I've been using the Rock case (zedd2000 posted pictures above). It fits the phone perfectly, super thin, seems very well made, and has a nice feel. Shipping from China to PA took 4 days - amazing. My only small complaint with the case is the bottom and top edges are a bit sharp which makes it uncomfortable if you hold the phone with a finger supporting the bottom. It's also difficult to press the on/off button because it's so thin and is very close to the top edge of the case - but that's mostly an issue with the phone, not the case. If the durability holds up - it's a great case for the Titan.

My case arrived today. Very pleased with it. Fits snug, good access to all of the buttons and camera lens. Feels good in the hand. Would recommend it.

Bought the BodyGuardz screen protector, still haven't put that on.
Does it have the same whole cutouts as in the picture, because the description and pictures are for an HTC sensation...

I Just got the CaseMate Barely There from the ATT site (They have a 35% off for online orders right now) and it does not fit properly. I also got one on Amazon for the "Eternity"(aka Titan) which too, does not quite fit. The CaseMate does not completely wrap around the shell, the top right corner is a little pulled back, and the one from amazon(linked to somewhere in this thread) is even more pulled back.

CaseMate Barely There from ATT:

I bought two cases off of eBay and the first already arrived. It seems to be in the same vein as the Rock NakedShell and the CaseMate Barely There previously posted, but it doesn't have sharp edges that I can tell.

This one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/250935387534?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

It's soft-touch rubber (I think that's what it's called) - very smooth, not "sticky" at all, and not a fingerprint-magnet. It definitely feels "barely there," and adds virtually zero bulk. I was really considering leaving my Titan naked, but I honestly don't even notice that this shell is even on. It should be noted that the top and bottom of the phone are largely exposed with the shell on, so any drop that tends even slightly toward the screen side probably won't be too well protected. (The other case I ordered should cover a bit more, but we'll see whether I like it as much.)

Shipping from China was fast, but not fast enough as I dropped my Titan onto concrete the day before (stupid gas pump showed the wrong price and I was fumbling for a calculator). :( Just one "gash" in the corner near the power button that I was hoping the case would cover, but doesn't. I'll file down and paint over...other than that, zero blemishes from the fall!

htc official tpu case

i got one of these from handtec in the uk

http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/5645/htc-titan-tpu-case--tp-c650-

it fits pretty well though is a little loose around the button cut outs. it also has sharp edges where the plastic has been removed from the mould.

it protects the phone pretty well and has lots of holes cut out of the back to keep the weight low ie. it doesn't look much like the pic at the handtec site! altogether i'd give it 7/10
