I agree but it's so weird. They say they're reviewing the situatuion.

Surely that only means there going to come out and say it is locked? or that they're taking away the lock?
Yeah but the have to say something. No disrespect to xda but in a companies eye a Facebook page full of people saying they don't want a lock is more reflective . They have to take note. Facebook and Twitter have a bigger influence than we realize plus the fact that people who didn't even know about the locks will complain now.

To come and say they are reviewing must mean something mate. If they weren't ever going to remove the lock, they could have just not said anything. Promising a policy review, and then doing nothing, is a LOT worse than not saying anything.

It is true, for a company like HTC Facebook is a big portal. People who don't even care about the lock are seeing it, and wondering what have HTC done to annoy people. Do it reflects badly on them ;) I am optimistic they will remove the locks on future devices, and release some updates, or commands to unlock the bootloader. If they didn't have it in the back of their minds, they wouldn't have every bothered posting about it I don't think.

They will remove their lock bootloaders. 101% confident.

HTC MUST REMOVE THEIR ASSH*LE LOCK BOOTLOADERS. BECAUSE LOOSING MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF EUROS AND DOLLARS, THATS MAKE ALL STUPID POLICIES MELT LIKE ICE IN HELL. Money is powerful and Mass communications over the world do the rest.
