Hello,

We have an Exchange 2003 SP2 server with mobile features enabled and we are trying to setup HTC touch HD for connecting to that server for receiving the emails in "Push" mode.

I followed the HTC manual and enabled the required settings, but I'm not sure what to do next. The instructions there are minimal.

Can anyone help with referring me to an explanation of the entire process, i.e. step-by-step configuration on the phone and on the server and troubleshooting steps?

thank you in advance,

David

Do you have OWA enabled in your Exch Svr? Just put the owa.xxx.com to your HTC setting. Then enter the ID, password and domain for the user. Check the SSL if you applied for the cert. That should be good as I'm using this kind of setting.

Hello horacehkm,

Thank you for your reply. Would you kindly elaborate?

Do you have OWA enabled in your Exch Svr?
Can it be https://www.mydomain.com/exchange ? If yes, it is enabled.

Just put the owa.xxx.com to your HTC setting.
Which HTC Seetings page/screen should I put it at?

Then enter the ID, password and domain for the user.
How do I know the domain? Where in HTC should I do that?

Check the SSL if you applied for the cert.
We didn't buy a certificate for this domain. Is the self-signed certificate enough or must we buy one?

Thanks a lot,

David
