Hey,

I know you guys probably hear this all the time but can someone point me at a thread that has instructions on how to de-brand? I'm on 3 and bought an orange branded device and it's driving me crazy!

I have seen a million threads about this but they all seem to have lots of very different sets of information on!

Use HardSPL to unlock your phone and flash any other ROM. The ROMs include a file with settings for many phone operators, when you power it on and it detects the phone signal, it will configure itself for your operator.
Take a look at the WiKi and choose an HTC or cooked ROM.

It's not that i could not find a thing, i just found everything and more!

HardReset then cancel the Orange post-customization (which start with a countdown) by pressing the reset button once.
You'll get nearly none of the crappy Orange theme/customization
