Hi Guys

My amazing HTC U11 Plus recieved early this morning the new 660 Mb update.

The only reported improvement was voWifi for CHT customers. I think that the update bring more than just this.

The security patch it has also been updated to December 1st.

I have just realized that the navigation button doesn't hide during texting. If you try to hide them, also the keyboard hide.

Did anyone else realized something more/else?

Seems a large update just for that.

At a guess i would of thought this could be the hdr10 update, and that is the true reason why europe orders were delayed so they would all get this update on launch.

Have you noticed anything with the screen?

I am not sure but looks like the Brightness it's a little bit better now. The screen is lighter.
Also the Always On function looks better now. But didn't get it checked as well.

Now it's not more possible to hide the navigation button. So sad for this. They are always on. :(

Can you tell us witch version do you have.
Is it EU version the device you are having or Asian version?

From where did you pick up your device directly from HTC Europe or third seller.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe to hide the yellow tint at bottom that some users are reporting in taiwanese forums....

Mine has It, but is barely noticeable.

This new white navigation bar is driving me insane. It is so intrusive. It also takes up screen real estate in games. What's the point of a big phone if so much is no useless during games. Can I make it go away?

There is an option to have the nav bar be transparent and disappear automatically in apps. Swipe the nav bar to the 2nd row of icons, then select the icon that looks like a arrow pointing down from a line. Once selected, it should fix your problem. If you don't see this icon, you can add it by going to settings>personalize>change navigation buttons>drag show/hide nav bar where you want it.

Is there an option to make it transparent but not hide it in general but only in games? If I do what you suggest, I lose the bar in all apps. I don't want to do that because I don't like to do 2 touches (one to pull the bar up and second to press the button) just to go back or go home.

You could do, as I suggested in a different post, and download an app to set the fingerprint to make you go home.
The fingerprint scanner will work as normally to unlock your Phone however pressing it again when unlocked will take you to the home screen like it used to on the HTC 10 (and maybe HTC U11 not sure about that one)
