This is a rom for the CDMA version of the HUAWEI IDEOS.
More of a basic rom with speed improvements.
If you want to have it at maximum potential please download launcher pro from market.

this will be great, because in my country CDMA ideos is growing in the market..

sincere request:
- pls add custom keyboard.. my friend has tried installing custom keyboard but it didnt work. cust. key may be good since this device has small screen..
- CFW may be great with speed and UI enhancement
- IMHO, focus in froyo is better for now than gingerbread (as per your poll in GSM Ideos )

okai, first you'll have to install a custom recovery onto your device...look at my other post about u8150 to get amon ra or go http://www.myppc.it/web/community/viewtopic.php?f=126&t=5453 to try to get clockworkmod recovery to work.

Is that base ROM update to 2.2.1, same with the U8150 too?

Currently, I use U8150 ROM from your other thread. Which one better, this rom or U8150 ROM?

well this is for compatibility purposes ...if you have the c8150 is preferable to use this rom ..if you have it and works totally fine on your device then use the 2.2.1 for gsm

Yes, I Have it and works tottaly fine. thanks, I'll stick with GSM ROM

Btw, till now, I can't use app2sd. ext partition won't mount automatically. Is it happened to you too?

Btw, do you have fastboot driver for C8150?

gsm mounts automatically...try to use link2sd

Where Can I find tutorial about link2sd? If I use C8150 ROM in this thread, will be app2sd working? At least, ext partition mount automatically.

it says you can move apps instead of moving them entirely with app2sd you have the option to choose from

Download the stock ROM. Huawei removed all ROMs for C8150/U8150 from their site, and stock ROM for U8150 will refuse to install onto C8150, here's the only ROM for C8150 I've found across Internet:

Put the file "UPDATE.APP" to the directory "dload" on your SD card, power off the phone, then power it up while holding Volume Up button and End Call (red) button. The phone will be updated to the stock ROM (and all your personal data will be erased).
If you don't like Indonesian user interface for any reason you may select different language by clicking the button in the lower-right corner in the startup dialog.

Next you'll need to enter APN for your cell network operator.
The phone is locked to the operator - it will delete any APN with MCC and MNC code not matching Indonesia and AHA. However the 3G works even with wrong MCC/MNC, at least for my operator.
Here's instructions for Ukrainian operator Intertelecom:

Go to Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Mobile -> APNs. There will be two APNs, click the first one. Enter following values:

APN: #777
Proxy - clear this field.
Username: IT
Password: IT
DO NOT change MCC and MNC fields.
Authentication: PAP or CHAP
APN type: *

Press Menu -> Save. Internet should be working now.
I did not try those instructions for different ROMs, but I think they might work.
