You need to enable telnet in the advanced menu first.
How to enable it. the screen on my router monitor is broken. is there another way to access without turning on the telnet option on the device. I have the same case as on page 6 people. i'm using router e5372t and e5372s. This router is same broken in screen

You'll have to rebuild the firmware, enabling telnet by default.
Change file /app/bin/oled_hijack/remote_access.sh line 62,
Code:
exit 0
to
Code:
exit 2

Hi ValdikSS,

Successfully flashed to the modem firmware, however facing the following issue

1. Wifi Band Selection is no longer visible in both webui and and oled screen but extended menu is visible. See below screenshot

2. Experiencing frequent no service on both LTE only and LTE>UMTS (MAXIS malaysia)

Any advise on the above issue?

Lastly can you give the download link the of the original unmodded 21.290.23.00.00 firmware, can’t seem to find it online.

Which modification (exact model) of the device do you have? The settings are stored in the web interface partition, and if I recall correctly, I ported the web interface from another, newer device. I might have not copied configuration for all of modifications from the original interface.

No idea.

It's 21.290.21.00.00, but it's basically the same except it's better, it doesn't have AT commands locked.

Hi ValdikSS,
Thank you for the 21.290.21.00.00 firmware files.

I'm currently experimenting with different firmware and webui.
Oh btw if you do happen to have the following firmware/webui for e5372 do kindly post a link
firmware 21.270.07.01.1047
webui 13.100.07.09.1047 or Airbox-WebUI-V100R003B100D07SP09C1047_Client Software_05011YWC.zip
it's the stock orange firmware and webui

My modem details as follows.
Found modem : Airbox
Model : Orange Airbox (Huawei E5372)
Firmware : 21.290.23.00.00
Compile date / time : Apr 17 2015 17:31:34
Hardware ver. : CL1E5372SM05
Dashboard version : WEBUI_17.100.09.03.03_NE5
SIM Lock status : unlocked
Wrong codes entered : 0 (unlock attempts left : 10)

thanks valdikSS for usefull link

thanks valdikSS, for the usefull link. the problem is blank out is clear, the problem is fw webui which is not suitable. I just flashed it with the web UI ver. 15 ... but the 5ghz wifi problem still exists, I have tried using the Huawei flasher or balong flash with the fw e5372s-620 version or fw e5372s bolt indonesia. but the problem remains I can't connect the 5GHz MIFi to a 2.4GHz laptop only. Am I wrong to flash stock by not using the short pin boot? because I always do flashing without short pin boot. thank you very much for the knowledge (i bought e5372s second only for learning to crack it) :good::good::good::good:
