Huawei Emui 10 P30 Pro, P30 Links Updated VOG, ELE

I somehow understood from what you guys were posting that it works on both versions.
At the moment I had downloaded and flashed it, there was no 432 download link and no warnings.

It looks like the phone won't go past the "Your device has loaded a different operating system".
I can go to erecovery but it won't find any firmware.
Hisuite doesn't solve it either.

Stupid question, but i have to. Did you download the C432 from link and replaced files on your Pendrive? Try again, but before Clean Data (Factory Reset) Because users who asked for my help on PM and had the message you're having flashed the correct firmware version (ex. wrongfully flashed VOG-L09 on VOG-L29. After downloading the correct firmware and flashed again, it worked and got back to life their devices)

I tried downloading the C432, formatted the usb, formatted the phone, wiped cache.
When I try to boot with volume + + volume - + power on, and OTG it goes to the "Your device has loaded a different operating system" screen.

Power Off your phone. Enter recovery by pressing Power+Volume UP and keep them pressed untill you see Huawei on screen. Release the Power button and keep pressing Volume UP untill you are in recovery menu, then release button. When in menu, select Update mode, then select Memory card/OTG update mode and it should start the update. See my SS attached.

Ok, keep me posted, because it's kinda strange, so many users managed to update using the same files as yours, soooo, where is the mistake? ?

so after a few errors,.. 3 SD-Cards,.. 2 USB-Sticks (Intenso and No-Name) the Only Stick was a SanDisk 32GB 2.0 Stick from my wife,..
Thx God its late and she was sleeping, so i could steal the stick from her, nah her Music Stick from her car
but it worked, 4 real,.. best stick ever, need one for myself.
Install Windows the Stick is awesome
Install Hackintosh the Stick is awesome
Update Android,.. f*** yeah, the Stick is awesome

Just tested another USB Drive from my Sister, I did the folder in it, used the dialer method and it worked flawless, it updated and now booted up. I'm setting the phone up again now. Thank you for all your help :victory::victory:

EDIT: I formatted the Stick as FAT32 and 4096 KB

Theoretically it should work, but I'll wait a few days and see if the official update comes out. If not, then I'm going for the OTG method.

Waiting and trying through HiCare, because the normal way i don't think you'll receive it too soon .

As i saw in your pictures, when you decide it's time to upgrade, you're good to go, just don't forget to BACKUP your stuffs before?

In HiSuite still C675 it shows you? Can you acces eRecovery to download firmware or it says eRecovery failed?

And NO, because if it says still C675 in HiSuite too you don't own anymore an C432 version, as you said. Your CUST as now is C675, so you must flash C675 firmware. Be aware you can softbrick your device if flashing another cust.

So I guess I will have to wait the OTA update in order to avoid problems.

Yes, better wait for OTA or try on HiCare or HiSuite PC version. Maybe at some point in time, there will be available a dload firmware for you C675 cust.

Hey guys not working for me

RE-download firmware from here ( choose one of those 2 mirrors):
- VOG L29 C431 Google Drive
- VOG L29 C431 RDS - password: 703698

1. backup your stuffs if you did't done yet
2. reset your device and after that power it off
3. insert your OTG+pendrive with the correct firmware on it (dload folder with all 3 zips inside)
4. ON EMUI 9.1 enter recovery by simultaneously pressing POWER + VOLUM UP + VOLUM DOWN untill you see white screen with EMUI recovery mode. Then release buttons and let the recovey starts/ends the flashing procedure.
5. ON EMUI 10 enter recovery by pressing Power+Volume UP and keep them pressed untill you see Huawei on screen. Release the Power button and keep pressing Volume UP untill you are in recovery menu, then release button. When in menu, select Update mode, then select Memory card/OTG update mode and it should start the update. See my PICTURES attached.

At the end when it's restarting after succesfully flashed firmware, you can remove the OTG.

Sorry for taking so long to reply...my friend just flatted his tire last night and he couldn't arrive, which was in my luck because I've donwloaded wrong firmware (L09) instead of the L29 one ))
Now I've got my Type-C to OTG adapter and i'm creating my USB stick, gotta backup and will return with more info :good:
