Kit Kat upgrade Experince

I would try and delete it and to re-install a different version. I think for the Play Store to work that you need Play Services installed also. You can get the APKs off the internet and side load them. I use APKgalaxy or ApkOne for many of my APKs

I have both Play Store and the Huawei Store installed on my phone and I get most of my updates thru the Huawei Store and have no trouble with them (they come out before Play Store and 95% of my apps are not Chinese, I am from USA and my phone is 100% in English)
Hi

thanks .. google play started to work and everything is fine.

I have the Chinese version 3C and getting the notification for OTA upgrade. Should i go for it??

Have u upgraded??

Official kit kat users please share your experience.

Battery

When I first got the phone I bought 2 batteries and a charger for it. They were aftermarket although they did have Huawei markings on them. Total cost was abount $10 USD. They lasted as long as the stock battery but they did have one problem that I never had with the stock battery. Sometimes the phone would do a random boot but only if I was using the aftermarket battery. This was when I was on 4.2.2 JB Also at the same time if I booted the phone I would lose my language pack for my SwiftKey keyboard. Since going to 4.4.2 KitKat I never have had the battery reboot issue or the SwiftKey keyboard problem. Now I have changed to the L Keyboard and no trouble with it also.

Yes I upgraded the first part of July with another update on the 16th. All is working well in KitKat so far. It fixed a few problems I had before. Also I rooted the phone the other day. I have tried to install a custom recovery but no luck as of yet.

Hi, I was having same problem too!

I flashed Taiwan B108 rom from my original rom "sjrom.cn", everything works fine until I accidently flashed the China CWM recovery and results bootloop.

To solve the bootloop I must unbrick by flashing back Taiwan B108 rom using SP Flash Tool:

I unchecked "PRELOADER", and then click "Download".

Now I can get back the B108 Taiwan stock rom again.

:)

Hi
My phone stuck in bootloop again!
the first time was because of CWM and solved by Instructions in Second post of this topic. (thanks to xperia_rebel)
the second time has happened when i played with recovery section of Mtk Droid Tools. the phone rebooted and is in bootloop now & it can't fix by flashing the recovery.
what should i do? i think i shoud flash Full ROM, am i correct?

my old version was H30-U10 V100R001C900B110, can i flash V100R001C900B108 version in second post?

Hello everyone,

I want some files from system of HUAWEI HONOR 3C INTERNATIONAL VERSION . I guess I come to the right place. I need /system/etc/fallback_fonts.xml, /system/etc/system_fonts.xml, /system/vendor/etc/fallback_fonts.xml(if it exists), /system/lib/libharfbuzz.so and /system/lib/libharfbuzz_ng.so(if it exists). I hope these files also work on chinese version. If so, our problem solved.

The reason we need them is that Huawei modded the text shaping system for chinese version of the same model. So that Myanmar font are not correctly rendered. We, Myanmar, are having a big trouble with the font on this very device.

Please Help!
Download mi rom asap from movilesdualsim or needrom is based at the last international version
