controlling cpu speed

I bought a new international version of huawei honor 3c.
however, sometimes the cpu gets too hot quickly and the battery drains off fast, so I wanted to control its speed and downclock it to get over this problem specially that I don't need its full speed of the four cores or even half of it most of time but still sometimes I find that the cpu is working with its full power with its four cores (cpu-z application tells me so).
I was told that the only way to do that is to use a "cpu controlling" application, so I tried setcpu and cpu tuner and they both are good but the problem is that they asked to root the phone, so I rooted it.
But, still when I rooted the phone, the two programs said that they can't access the cpu because my kernel doesn't allow them to and they asked to change it.

so here's what I think my problem is, I think need a suitable kernel for huawei honor 3c which is compatible with the phone system and applications and will allow me to control cpu speed.

or am I thinking wrongly?

Why dont you try NO Frills CPU Control !

Also , UnderClocking will make the Process Overwork to achieve the same result

Ex:

Running at 1.3 GHz --- > UI Smooth , Voltage smooth

Running at 1 GHz ---> UI Attempting to become Smooth ( Overworking ,Voltage gets used in a different way )

Its more like an Illusion .... ! , they design the kernel with the involved Governer to run at the predefined Speed.

Why dont u investigate the apps running while the phone is sleeping , Try to keep protected apps to zero or max one !

find that protected apps and remove all the ticks !

this is why I thought of downclocking the cpu.

isn't 4 "1.3" ghz cores is so much?

does the phone really control the cpu speed well? most of time even when there are no applications are running, 2 cores (at least) have to be working.

As of Now , ( AFAIK ) there arent any new kernels , out which have been tweaked for Battery or Overclocking....

Why dont you Try MIUI Rom , i found the battery far better than stock

Now there a new problem. I am not liking mm chinese custom rom. I upgraded chinese rom 4.7.1 and now i am on kitkat 4.4.
Can i downgrade to to 4.2.2. Please give a little detailed answer cause i am not such advanced android user..

I have the international version. I have noticed a weird problem. I dont get any notification for new whatsapp, viber, line, gmail and facebook apps. It's not the matter of notifications because when i open the app for example like whatsapp, no new message but in a few seconds ill get hundreds of messages from the whole day arriving at the same time. For gmail, ive sent myself test emails and the email doesnt even arrive until i open gmail app and refresh.

Anyone facing the same problem? I have auto-sync on and changed the battery saver mode to normal. Sometimes i miss important messages because of this. How can i solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Ensure those Apps are checked in protected apps !, also do not greenify or use any stupid/silly/crazy task manager or task killer

The phone manager can take care of everything!!

Steps to get back to Various Stages !!!:

0) Prerequisite - Bootloader Unlocked , in 4.4.2 Chinese Flashed on a International !!

1) (Flash TWRP Recovery and Take a beautiful Backup ! - Including Apps (Cache and Data )EVERYTHING!! )
Method is in Codelover's Guide ! ...

we did step 1 to ensure we have something in hand ! ( Also Please remember where this Backup is going to Store(in TWRP Folder ), Copy to PC !!)

2) Micro SD Card ( Prepare one , Format neatly , Place a Dload Folder with B115 ROM and Also Au_cfg.tmp)
we are doing Step 2 to Upgrade Force SD Card

3) Boot Phone , Finish Setup and Check the IMEI and Signals !!:angel:

4) If you Get Signals and IMEI ( Well and Good! ) Stop here.... :good:

Else Continue to Step 5:fingers-crossed:

5) with B108 Use the SP Flash Tool and this Method to Get Back to Stock !! ......and then Repeat Step 3 :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

Repeat Step 4 and if it is True ! ...... Stop Here :good::good::good::good: ( Congrats your Back to Stock !!and YOUR BOOTLOADER IS LOCKED AGAIN!! )----------------YOU GOT BACK UR WARRANTY

6) Else .................... Proceed !!

No IMEI , No Signals ..... Dont Give Up Hopes :good::good:

UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER AGAIN !

Look Step 7 is not a deviation.. This is a new Attempt to get back IMEI ....( When u Boot MIUI ....You get IMEI and Signals!! and your in JB)

2. wipe all data / cache
3. install the miui rom
4. while done , reboot system

After tired of 4.4 i flash the stock rom and now i am back on 4.2.2
Now i want to install MIUI rom so now i had unlocked boot loader that is the first step.
I downloaded TWRP manager from play store and it was not working without root so i rooted my mobile.
Then a new issue came, after root TWRP manager open but when i try to intall my device was not there so i think it is not compatible with my mobile.
I think i dont know how to install TWRP recovery and most important i am not getting it for my device directly because when i try to download directly my device name was not there.
NOW PLEASE LISTEN CAREFULLY
I am not getting anything after that like how exactly to flash miui rom.
NOW IT WOULD BE A GREAT FAVor if u show me every step to perform by showing SCREEN CAPS of every STEP.
One LAST thing can i install miui using SB FLASH tool if yes then show me how

Then Hope u downloaded the MIUI Rom , Download the ROM and its Gapps in the below links if u forgot ,

Now Wipe the Phone ( Not with a Cloth but.... by clicking that wipe option as shown below )

NEXT NAVIGATE BACK ON TWRP , CLICK THAT INSTALL

LOCATE THAT MIUI FOLDER , AND CHOOSE THE ROM !!!

DONE!!

ONCE DONE REBOOT AND FINISH MIUI SETUP ....

THEN AGAIN GO TO TWRP AND FLASH GAPPS !!....( the Second Smaller Size File in The MIUI Folder which u kept ) !!
