I'm waiting till XDA starts a proper Honor3C forum, maybe with Cyanogenmods before I start flashing any oriental roms

Hi Guys

Today I got my international H30-U10 with 4.2.2 which i prepare for my wife. It´s by far not my 1st Android device. But it seems that I´m too stupid to switch to another Launcher like Apex.

I installed Apex, started it. But after pressing Home button or reboot, the default launcher without App drawers is back. I searched Google and this thread but found nothing so far what helped me. So I count on you guys and your massive expierience with this device Hopefully I don´t need to root or sth like this, cause it´ll become my wife´s mobile. That´s why I wanna keep it as simple as possible

E: Unable to mount '/cache

i have facing some issues. Today i flashed TWRP V2.8.1.0 and unlock the bootloader and everything going well. When im entering recovery mode, i want to backup and it appear E: Unable to mount '/cache and its hang. Whatever i press also cant return back homepage. I take off battery and manually enter again recovery mode and im tried to flash EMUI 3.0 but failed. Now im restart my phone and its hang on Honor Logo Screen. Anyone have idea how to solve it? Your advise is highly appreciate.

hi, i rooted my device with vroot (iroot) and it says "successful" with a smile! but the smile is a fake cuz its not rooted!
i got firmware ..B109
what is going on. is there any other way to root it without flash new rom?..
i put no sim & sd into it yet, thats not the problem?
i guess i got the international version (english language)

I noticed that amazon version of Honor 3C (V100R001C432B109) has not yet a complete guide/tool to unlock bootloader and root.
Root is simple with live recovery TWRP but with a locked bootloader is almost useless.
Can anyone (from developer) found a method to unlock bootloader? Then, is there an official rom V100R001C432B109 to restore it?

You have to install 4.10 firmware to get 3g working on both Sims.

disable prev launcher and ensure u install launchers like Nova Launcher which help u clear previous launcher,

Stock Launcher must be clear data , cache and disabled

Would anyone here perhaps be able to create a flashable zip containing the busybox binary, maybe?
I have heard and seen many people in the past having troubles with installing busybox via one of the apps even though their 3C's are fully rooted, and so have I.
But since the rooting did in fact succeed and the su binary is indeed now located in the 'xbin' directory, couldn't we do something similar for busybox?

I have actually been trying to create a flashable zip for it myself but failed to each try so far.

Wait till codelover has some special rom and recovery for us B109ers
Ive rooted mine using the Live-TWRP method, so warranty is still good and Ive moved all my apps with data from previous phone using TitaniumBackup.

i installed kit kat B255
but my IMEI does not exist i use Modem fix patch but it doesn't worked and then
i installed B108 sign with sp flash tool but it doesn't worked again
i installed B115 from phone update but it doesn't worked again
i installed B255SP01 from my update phone but it doesn't worked again
i use many ways to restore IMEI but i can't restore IMEI and MAC Address

Emui 3.0 rom review (b256) & how to rebel flash it

Statutory Warning - ( If you dont like my methods , just p) .... do not follow )
Steps used :
0)Took a FULL TWRP BACKUP

1) Downloaded EMUI 256 and kept in SD Card Dload folder as required

2) Flashed the Stock Recovery , and then restarted the phone with Both Vol + and -

3) Entered SD Card Upgrade Method , ( Process got over )

4) Booted the phone and made a few phone calls

5) Switched it off , Removed Battery , connected the phone to SPFT ( PC and Flashed TWRP by CL 2.8)

6) Powered on phone , with a Vol + and entered TWRP , Choose Option Restore
(Ensure the TWRP is set to Memory Card , else u cant see anything

7) Selected the taken backup and ticked only Cache , Data

8)Restored it Carefully and rebooted the phone

9) ( Check out your phone just like it was before !! )

10) Ordered a chocolate Milkshake and showed my Friends how i just Cooly updated the phone to EMUI 3.0 ( 4.4.2 )

How is the ROM ?

Well , if u have been using B246 and ones before ....

Then you would definitely feel good , especially when Native Call Recording is back ,

Facebook and other notifications will be available on Lock screen !!!!

Battery Is amazing!!! , Look you will definitely love the Smoothness and Cool Features !!

Lock Screen Emergency Pull up menu , if you notice , there is Call Recording ( Like a SPY TOOL )

imagine u need to record a conversation or overhear , u can do so by using the Tool !!!:laugh:

That's because you are not fully rooted.I had the same problem and i solved it by rooting with VROOT. Currently using 4.4.2 EMUI 3.0 with busybox installed.

I am not quite sure about that.
I rooted using the TWRP flashing method by Codelover.
My superuser app works fine, all root apps work fine too, yet I have had troubles with the 'filesystem' being 'read-only' in my phone, which is also what prevented the busybox-apps to install busybox on my phone.

In the end I used a standard BusyBox flashable zip, but I edited the mount commands to fit this particular phone (for those who do not know, mmcblk0p5 is the '/system' block). I seem to have a working busybox now.
So, despite all that, are you still saying I am not fully rooted?
Because I really refuse to use VRoot again. I tried it, but it bloats your phone with unnecessary apps and it didn't even succeed to root my phone, at all.
Would there be another way to root my device fully, if it still isn't according to you? (So No VRoot).
