I am not quite sure about that.
I rooted using the TWRP flashing method by Codelover.
My superuser app works fine, all root apps work fine too, yet I have had troubles with the 'filesystem' being 'read-only' in my phone, which is also what prevented the busybox-apps to install busybox on my phone.

In the end I used a standard BusyBox flashable zip, but I edited the mount commands to fit this particular phone (for those who do not know, mmcblk0p5 is the '/system' block). I seem to have a working busybox now.
So, despite all that, are you still saying I am not fully rooted?
Because I really refuse to use VRoot again. I tried it, but it bloats your phone with unnecessary apps and it didn't even succeed to root my phone, at all.
Would there be another way to root my device fully, if it still isn't according to you? (So No VRoot).

Possibly.
I've tried every method to mount the system RW while the phone is On. Apps, terminal commands, shell via adb.
The only thing that can actually write to the system partition on my phone is recovery.
As I said previously, VRoot fails every attempt to root on my phone, so I resorted to the root via the TWRP root flashable zip, which I thought had worked, yet I still had the issues with the system partition.

I am going to try and do some messing around in recovery in attempt to get a full root with the access to the system partition, by changing some update/flash scripts and manually moving / adding files to the system, but I doubt it will be successful.

If anyone else has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. Either way as I have noticed more people having this problem I hope someone finds a way to fix it completely, soon.

I have used that method, like I said. It is part of the 'TWRP method' by codelover.
The thing is, it is known (since the 30th of December) that this method doesn't work on European handsets.

I have tried multiple alternative root methods, none of them have seemed to work.
I am currently trying to find another way to exploit my handset like I said in my previous posts by trying out and changing existing methods a little bit. So far no luck.
I am not planning to unlock my bootloader on this device so I just hope someone will find another root method soon that also works on Europe sets, or some way to set the sets to insecure without unlocking perhaps....

Is there no way for a modified insecure kernel to work without unlocking the bootloader?

Ah.. Sorry. I didn't know that you were trying a Europe model with locked BL. Mine is China one with unlocked BL and still have full root until latest ROM with Codelover's method. I have no idea with the Europe model.

What experience do you have with 4.4? I mean especially access to SD card and movin apps to the sd card. Is it possible?

Loving emui 3.0 kk 4.4.2 on my international honor 3c. Waited so long for an official update from huawei and at last decided to go with chinese rom.
@codelover, thanks for that fantastic guide for making it possible.

I was running with B115 4.2.2 JB ROM. Here is the steps I have followed.

1. Downloaded 4.4.2 B256SP01 ROM and kept in sd cars dload folder

2. Power off the handset.

3. Upgraded to the KK version using force sd card upgrade method(pressing volume up, volume down and power button).

Now the phone will be running with emui 3.0 Kk, but obviously you will be missing IMEI and signal.

4. Unlock boot laoder using SP Flashtool and Honor 3c Project directory.(thanks @codelover)

5. Now flash TWRP using SPFT. (thanks @codelover)

6. Now by pressing volume UP and power button boot onto recovery and apply Modem fix for 4.4.2 and GAPPS.

DONE

What did you do that resulted in this problem?
Did you flash something, try to root, installed cwm, what?

Either way it sounds like you'll need to re-flash your stock rom. Although it doesn't necessarily have to be that, depending on, like I said, what you did to cause the bootloop.

Bugs in the stable version

List of bugs i noticed in the EMUI 3.0 B256SP01

1) Turn on the Aeroplane Mode and keep it on , Switch to 2G only !:fingers-crossed: , get shocked to see the 3G Symbol come up with H
Lol , you just reversed the switch , the switch has got swapped ( it will function in reverse )

2) The Call recorder , calculator is not working on the lock Screen , Flash Light and Camera are working on the Lock Screen !

3) ONE CAN NEVER SWITCH OFF THE USB DEBUGGING :crying: ..... ( Try it and reconnect , it will again switch on)

Has anyone encounter this msg on ur device before? "Unfortunately, google play services has stopped" after rooting. and myb i accidentally delete the google play service. any way to save it? i tried clear cache, clear data and even restore factory settings. but didnt work. all the system related to google seems to have failed.

Open app center in applications if you are on emui 2.3 or 3.0 and search for google play services. Install it then google play store and restart ur phone.
Otherwise download latest gapps.zip from codelovers thread copy it to your sd card boot to twrp or cwm whichever have on ur phone and install it.

Hi, the best app for camera is ProCapture. It has numerous options. I think it's not free, so try to find the patched version or buy it.

Hi, try to uninstall google play service and google play store using root uninstaller. Restart your phone and first install the latest version of google play service and then google play store. you can find these apps on the net. hope that it will work.

Hi, try the latest version of Kingo android root. Note that the program needs to download the driver of your phone, so keep your wifi turning on. Also you should activate usb debugging on your phone.

I have tried Kingo root too but no success
