I've just bought Honor 3C H30-U10 (European version of the system, 4.2.2). I don't plan to root the phone in the nearest future.
I found some pre-installed apps unnecessary for me. These apps are: Bitcasa, Facebook, Twitter, Kingsoft Office, 4 demo games from Gameloft, and 100% Games! (probably Gameloft client). Can I just uninstall them (Settings --> Manage Apps) without any negative influence on the system stability?
Has anyone tried flashing B261 Stable ROM? I'm on B110 and planning to flash this version directly. Is it safe? Should I do it? If not which version should I flash and can I directly flash that version on B110 or do I need to flash other versions first?
I am user of international Version of Honor 3c.... I was really happy with it but one day I got crazy and went to the market to get it upgraded to 4.4.2... It got upgraded but same problem as it lost signals.... So that guy in the market tried his level best to put it back to 4.2.2 to its original position.... When i start using it, there starts a problem with my contacts to load plus it started hanging when i open the contacts , sometime it hanged while using GPS... it basically start hanging up ... So i took it again to the same guy, he re-installed another version of 4.2.2 and then I had to travel... The problem is still there and I am unable to use the phone... I have reset it two times and it starts working but when i got the contacts synched with Google, it again start doing the same problem so now the phone has no data and i am not using it... I feel there is something wrong with the hardware like ram as the contacts starting showing after 1 hours or two hours ... sometime after whole night... It gives problem sometimes with 3G and sometimes same problem with Wifi as i thought it is something to do with connection... the contact hanged once and i disabled the GPS and it started working but then it stopped after sometime... Kindly help me in this regard as i am badly stuck...
The below is a method to flash MIUI into Huawei Honor 3C!!!,

Steps to Flash:
Ensure the phone is on JB 4.2.2. ( Any Version , for international it would be B115 or lower ) Bootloader must be unlocked!
Follow this Guide at your risk ( Warranty will be void once Unlocked!!)
PLEASE TAKE A FULL BACKUP USING SP FLASH TOOL READ BACK FEATURE!!!

IMEI is no more an issue , Very Happy about that
Tips for Setting 2G Network!
1) Go to Stock Settings in MIUI , 2) Choose the first Chinese option and in that Choose Network mode and Select 2G Only !:laugh::laugh::good:
2)Never Restore any of your Old backups !! from EMUI 2.3 or 2.0

If your reading this very carefully , then i assume you had tried some recovery image which caused you a BOOT LOOP :laugh:
Dont worry , i am now going to explain all possible ways to RECOVER YOUR PHONE
MOST IMPORTANT ( IF UR PHONE IS CURRENTLY STILL WORKING)
1) do not attempt to flash recovery without a backup done using SP Flash tool by using read back and taking a master dump
2) do not assume anything, focus while using a flash tool
OKAY MOST IMPORTANT THING, DONT LEAVE THE PHONE IN BOOTLOOP, it will drain the battery
1) step one download all the three things given in the attachment below
2) unzip alll the items
3)Install the Drivers safely , for windows 8 , disable the signature thingy !
4) THE SP FLASH TOOL , Keep it open
5)CHOOSE THE SCATTER FILE AS GIVEN IN ATTACHMENT
6) NOW CHOOSE THE RECOVERY GIVEN IN ATTACHMENT BY PLACING IN THE sp fLASH TOOL FOLDER
7 cLICK DOWNLOAD AND KEEP USB CABLE TO PC AND NOT TO MOBILE
6) remove battery and connect phone in META MODE ( Vol + and power ) TO pc
7 a RED BAR GOES SUPER FAST ! AND THEN yellow AND finally the green all PASS SYMBOL COMES UP
YOUR SAFE !!!! AND BACK TO ORGININAL STOCK RECOVERY
IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS , PLZ ASK ME !! AND DONT FORGET TO THANK ME

RULES WHILE DOING OTA ! ( INCASE OF FLASHING B6XX on International Version)
1) DO NOT ROOT
2) DO NOT PUT ANY CUSTOM RECOVERY ( ELSE U Will Boot into that and the OTA Will not Flash !)
3) EnSURE u have unlocked your bootloader before an OTA !
4) If LOCKED THEN , U R GONNA BRICK YOUR PHONE !! ( WHEN U DO AN OTA)
IF OTA FAILS AND PHONE DOES NOT BOOT ,
FIRST THING WOULD BE 1) FLASH CUSTOM RECOVERY , 2) RESTORE SYSTEM 3) ENJOY

Sir, thank you very much but the problem is that I don't want to upgrade my phone to kitkat as I already did it and again got it back to jelly bean... Signals are coming and phone is fine working wise... The issue is that it gets hang on different occasions like opening contacts or using GPS etc.....
You advised me to flash the phone with the file you sent me last time in your message... I have downloaded that file.. .. Now as per your advice, I need to flash the phone using your file....
But as per tutorial sent by you, it doesn't give option to flash it with the file given by you....

You'll most likely have to disable the stock launcher by renaming the .apk to something else temporarily.
I actually had the same thing on my emui2.0 European stock Rom...
Basically I ended up disabling it, running my custom launcher, and re-enabled. Now it just asks for preference again...

Hi all, I'm using an AOSP ROM on my Honor 3c, and Google Maps automatically force closes. I've updated the app thrice, still the problem persists. I tried another AOSP ROM, same problem.. I was trying to flash the CM11 for H30-U10 provided here. I'm using codelover's TWRP so I had to replace the update-binary, which I did. The flashing was successful but when I rebooted the system after flashing, the phone goes into bootloop. Has anyone else tried this ROM? I couldn't find the original post for this ROM which might have some instructions as to how to properly flash this. If anyone's using or has used this ROM, can you please specify the steps required to successfully get this working?

I just like to share a problem and I need your advice.
I have a Huawei Honor 3C and wanted to upgrade to Android 4.4 Kitkat. I wanted to unlock the bootloader. I used SPFlashtool but forgot to remove the battery and an error occurred. The phone went out and never started after this. When I try attempting to restart, no sign of the phone. I tried all possible ways (volume + and power, volume - and power, ...) but nothing worked. I put it in charge to hope for a sign of life, but only a continuous vibration appears when charging and the screen remained desperately dark.
Is my phone dead? Is this a hard-brick? Is there a way to fix it?
