here you go
https://mega.nz/#!tipwGQRa!0OEaqFJwVpY7T1LrRKI2YFa1jp4x7VoBF7GiJyvpp2Y

install using the dload method via usb OTG, just remember that it wipes everything and relocks the bootloader!
you need the code if you wish to unlock the bootloader again.

worked for me and yes it's optus branded. I haven't tried myki, however google pay works just fine.

safetynet check passes and the version suffix updated from C34E11R1P16 to C34E12R1P16

as always, use at your own risk, but it worked for me.

here are some checksums to verify the download
MD5: 70bd0df2501ce8dc6c75c5ab63331737
SHA-1: 89213ce0528e7195ef3379b0c3bc04f4c8001379
I tried dload with usb otg, hisuite, erecovery, nothing works. please some help.
I have manually installed a firmware on my device previously but failing to receive OTAs anymore and stuck with the 9.0.0. Wanted to revert back to the optus firmware with no luck :((

Update: dload method works fine now with these files.

Bought a JBHIFI L29 last year. Has anyone managed to get voLTE, WIFI calling, RCS, ect working with Telstra yet? I had a lengthy phone call with Huawei chat the other week, and they say it should be supported on 9.1 with Telstra. I've done a factory wipe, reset cellular settings. Tried an optus sim card. and still no option for it yet.

If only I could grab a bootloader code when they come around again, i could root and change the "ro.config.hw_volte_dyn" to false in build.prop. So that the damn option comes up in the network menu!

Still not working on Telstra I'm on 9.1. I'm running dual Sim and my Vodafone card gets VOLTE but not Telstra. VOLTE is enabled on my Telstra Sim cause when I use it in an iPhone it works. Seems Telstra restrict it to only allow it to work on iPhones or android handsets they sell directly with their firmware which stinks

I also have the L29 from JB and I do get VoLTE but not VoWiFi. I'm with Optus 9.1.

I was hoping it would be active in the 9.1 but no luck.

So are you on 9.1.0.300?

I'm curious about you have VoWiFi with Vodafone.

Why would Optus not have it on this phone...... My HTC had it.

I've disabled it.. I wish I could disable Volte too so I get more space for notifications on the top left

Just received with Optus, unlocked L29.

August security patch.
Are you sure yours from optus? Or you just using optus carrier on the phone? Your model c636 seem to be an unlock non carrier or when you buy out right. Normally those outright phone get faster update since they are direct from Huawei. I'm still waiting for optus update.. Still on 302.

Yes, I'm with Optus but it's not a branded Optus phone.

As mentioned it's unlocked.

Yes just as I expect, to have less confusion you should call it non branded. Your update should be much faster as they are direct from Huawei. Optus is very bad at updating.

Today I just receive an update to 310. It's quite a big 4.2gb in size, but still only July security. Hopefully the optus phone will get the august security update within the next few days.
