Hola
So after more than a week or so I finally got the latest update (9.0.0.146). I am on Fido.
I was having a hard time getting the in display fingerprint reader to read my finger consistently. But with the new update, I redid the enrollment and now I have to admit that it works really well... it is still not as fast and reliable as a external scanner but good enough to use.
I've never had issues with the fingerprint scanner. It works 100% of the time for me.

Is anyone here on Bell and managed to get .146?

I even put my girlfriend's Telus sim into my phone and all that did was give me a 5mb security update that left me at a slightly newer version of .127.

Kinda tired of waiting.

Recently sent my phone to Huawei for Repair, it was sent to FutureTel and from what I'm being told the screen was replaced. Anybody send there unit out and just get the screen replaced? What did you receive back from them?

Hey guys.

On Bell's network with a Mate20 Pro (LYA-LOC) and still stuck on 9.0.0.127.

I read somewhere that there was improvement on security, software and etc. on updates that other carrier got.

Any news on when we should see the updates?

Thanks

If I were you I would probably ask bell. I think everyone else got it.

There was a guy earlier tried to replace the sim card with another carrier's, this method works for me. I got the nov security patch. But the version stays in 127.

Just got the phone yesterday from Koodo and was disappointed to find out OEM unlock in Developer option was greyed out...so basically no root and no Titanum...

Are all of you guys in the same boat?

Yup...on Videotron.

Anyone here NOT on Robbers /Fido that gets VoLTE and VoWiFi? Drives me nuts that I had to bend over backwards to get it activated on my previous phone (not purchased from carrier) and now I lost it again.
Fwiw, on Videotron VoWiFi allows you to make free local calls when traveling.

I got my dual sim version M20Pro from Hong Kong LYA-L29. It is LG screen. No green hue for the first day so far. Don't know will it get worse from time to time.

Curious what model no. the Canadian version are.

Does your phone support Band 66? Thanks

Your official link is the Canadian single SIM spec.

I believe the question is asking b66 on my global dual SIM version.

Hola
If that is the case then I stand corrected... It seems indeed that your dual SIM variant does not carry band 66 LTE. Please refer to the following https://consumer.huawei.com/en/phones/mate20-pro/specs/

Question for you, are you getting VoLTE on your device? If so which carrier you are currently using? Thanks.

Posted in a VoLTE thread, but I thought this might be of interest here as it pertains to the Canadian L0C variant:

<<
- we all knew the Canadian version L0C is NOT dual-SIM - I finally got a chance to test this. Bummer.
- I put in my phone a Rogers SIM and VoLTE and VoWiFi WERE INSTANTLY ENABLED (I am with VTR). So the software supports it, has to be enabled by the provider via the SIM cfg. Somewhat positive news - as we all thought, Rogers would only allow VoLTE on the phones they sell, the test proved this is not the case. >>
