Finally got 9.1, as others have mentioned it really didn't change anything. The phone *is* noticeably 'smoother', which is the only way to describe it. The update didn't break anything I had tweaked either, like running Nova with an icon pack and custom font, etc. One thing is for sure - the settings menu is an absolute mess now.

Did you get it OTA? Which is your carrier?

I'm on Telus. I installed Hi-Care a week ago and tried to update, to no avail. Changed my location to all 274 countries on the planet (except Canada, which amusingly is not a selectable country on *any* Huawei menu system of any kind, anywhere), still nothing. I howled with rage and scratched at my eyeballs in despair. I guess the attempt may have put in a 'request' though. When I glanced at the settings a couple of days ago, oh gee it said there was an eleventy Terabyte update ready to download and install. Again, nope they weren't going to tell me about it with... *gasp* possibly a notification? (and yes, I have notifications for updates enabled in the 48 separate spots in the setttings).

Anyway... yes, OTA, very painless, etc. So there. My life is complete. Now I can finally take pictures of the Moon with the full 3000X Epilepsy Zoom feature I've been waiting for all these years.

Are you able to use HiCare? I was never able to do anything with it. When I selected UK as my country, ( I have a working UK SIM to receive SMS), it kept saying could not connect to sever.

Hey guys it looks like erecovery will upgrade you early. Turn your phone off and unplug it then plug it in while holding volume up and wait until the recovery menu comes up. Choose download and recovery and enjoy 9.1 ?

Hmmm I'm with public mobile, which is owned by Telus, same as the other guy who got the update. Maybe it's only been released through them.

Were you already on .269?
