I just did a test in super low light with OLED tools and tried it in the grey and green tones and see some really bad uniformity. Think I see a bit of green on the lower right hand side but not sure if it's just the the glare from the screen. The glowing edges I definitely saw when in pitch black.

Have had mine for 2 days now. Ran oled tests as well as low light tests, no green is visible on my device so far. Also a LG screen batch 51 but i doubt it has anything to do with the batch number as I witnessed the number change after i updated to EMUI 9.0.0.127.
the 51 o nthe display number means driver NOT batch. Sadly, the rest of the world still has the issue. im hoping the canadian ones dont.
Same Model LYA-L0C, i'm going to return/exchange for Pixel 3. The green tint started showing up more during night use in my room. Can't stand it. But the features on this phone is excellent. especially the camera. Love the Aperture mode, Super Macro shots. I just wished the Canadian batch didn't have this issue.
Unfortunately I have an LG screen as well. Using the OLED Tools the grey looks so uneven and not uniform at all. It's like 50 shades of grey. And a halo of really light green on the sides with light bleed on top and bottom. I'm just pissed that even after all these reports of issues with LG and the later release date in Canada we still got the crap LG screen.
To top it off, my screen had 3 long scratches on the left side of the screen out of the box which is visible under bright light.

Does anyone have the 'lock screen magazine' feature? I don't seem to have it...version 9.0.0.127
Go to the THEMES app. On top left corner click on the CUSTOMIZE icon. Then choose LOCK SCREEN STYLE. You can disable or enable MAGAZINE UNLOCK from here.
I have this checked off, but it still shows the same photo every time.

Any Canadian Mate 20 pros with the BOE screen or have they all been LG so far?
Wanting to know the same thing mate. My lg screen is fine except at less than 5% brightness, where I get a bit of light bleed on the sides. Seeing if it gets worse or stays like this. I'd most likely keep it if it stays this way. Screen is still amazing.
Here is mine ......LG screen also, only had it for 3 days. Only have been charging it with an Anker 18w

Just do your wallpaper to test. Mine glows green around the edges at 0% brightness but nowhere near what yours showed.
What do you plan to do? Ask for exchange? I'm going to visit Koodo sometime to ask if I could get like exchanged
I'm going to get a refund , go back to my Sony XZP ,until this mess is sorted out
I have no clue how or where to even check. Mine seems just fine though.
