I'm in europe, but no update yet. I have changed the region to all the countries in asia and even tried vpn to connect through all of asia, but to no avail.
If you have the update, please let is know wich region you are in and wich region setting you have in the hicare apo.

I am on C185

What I did was:
Open HiCare app
Go To Settings
Change your region to Singappore
Wait 5 sec
go to the quick service and tap update
accept emui 9.1
go to software update and download emui 9.1

Update version 9.1

Is that the C636 variant? If yes, where are you located and what region have you selected in HiCare?
Hello, I have the international version EVR-L29, 9.0.0.207 C636, I put yesterday in HiCare the region of Singapore, and this morning when running HiCare I got the update notice
Excuse me for my English. I'm with the translator.
A greeting.

Thanks.. That worked for me as well! I am quite pleased with Huawei that despite the bullying by others, they are continuing to maintain their release schedules and providing regular updates.

1. You need to go to Hicare app and change to Singapore
2. Hicare app will `apply' your IMEI into the Huawei firmware server in order to authorize the server to allow OTA for your IMEI
3. Go to check update after the hicare app, and download and apply new firmware update.

EMUI 9.1 doesnt feel faster and I get a lower score on geekbench compared to 9.0

I do get battery drains (last hour I used my phone for 5 min just looking at some stuff and the screen was mostly off and it drained 3% + I lose 10% every hour)
I am going to factory reset though (I have heard it doesnt help but what ever)

Now we have 9.1 installed how do we get AOD for 3rd party apps working, eg whatsapp, twitter etc?

No getting much response to this question.
