Most of the Google apps and Android Auto are working on my global Mate X3.
Hi. Did you download Android auto dekm Huawei app store? Mine says connected on my phone but does not show up as an option to use Android auto on my head unit. I have a 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan. Any advice would be grratly appreciated.

Still looking for hp on how to get always on display to stay on instead of tapping to show. Anyone know how to do this? Thank you!!

Hello, thanks for the reply! I have done everything still getting the same message :(
I'm in a similar situation. Changed the AppGallery region to Malaysia, was able to download Lighthouse and install it. However, when I try to login it says that the device is not compatible. So not really sure what else to do to have native GMS. I am not liking the GBox and other virtualized solutions.

Exactly the same issue! I really don't like these virtual options either. I really hope there is a way to convert the phone to harmony OS or lighthouse to work at least. I wish I've done my research before buying this version of phone.

Thanks for your replies.
I have the Huawei Mate X3 amazing phone! And yes can confirm I'm using the Huawei M-Pen 2s it does indeed support Stylus for both cover screen and inner screen just like the new Honor Magic V2 so Huawei was first with this feature!

I bought my Huawei Mate X3 from Huawei UK online however I had to import the Huawei M-Pen 2s from China as its not available globally so dumb don't know why Huawei have done this??

I have been using Fold phones for the past 3 years, as well as the Mate X3 I also have Huawei Mate Xs and the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. I also had Galaxy Fold 2 & 3. IMHO by far the Huawei Mate X3 is the best Fold phone yet!!

As the inner screen is soft plastic doesn't pen leave an indentation?

No it doesn't remember this pen is designed not just for Mate X3 but also for use on Mate Xs which I also have and on both phones pen does not leave any indentation not unless you apply brute force then of course. Just use the pen as you would use a normal pen to write.

I also think the Honor Magic V2 uses the same pen tech in fact I think Honor shares a lot of the tech from Huawei, one of the reasons why Honor Magic V2 is thinner then Mate X3 is because it doesn't have wireless charging. I believe Huawei still have control or stake in Honor then what we're lead to believe that they are two separate independent companies.

@gfreek How did you install Google apps on your global version?
Luckily for me I'm not completely dependent on Google services, so using combination of lighthouse solution and Gbox I have the Google apps that I need and also all my UK banking apps works so no problem.

However if you use Google 100% and majority of your apps rely on GMS then Huawei Mate X3 may not be your best option.

Hi there, just curious on how were you able to download lighthouse from the AppGallery or from what site did you get it for that matter??
