Unless Hicare does something behind the scenes, the amount of people checking for updates every few seconds there are going to be some who get it when checking via HiCare even if they only just checked via normal update methods, then the more people who read about this they all start trying via HiCare and more people get lucky

I don't know if HiCare does anything else other than open settings update, but my guess is that it's nothing more than a shortcut
It does seem like a shortcut.
However I checked for updates normally and it showed none. Then maybe 30 to an hour later, I tried hicare (after reading this thread) and when I hit update, it suddenly offered it. Maybe hicare does something else to trigger it or maybe it was just a coincidence.

Try wipe cache if this not help do factory reset
wipe cache of what?

So far, I've noticed this in Chrome, Voice, Maps, Uber, Lyft, Play Store, United from what I can remember.

For example, I goto chrome, and it gives me "err_proxy_connection_failed", I toggle airplane mode and it starts working, now I switch to Uber, it tells me I'm offline, then I toggle airplane mode again to get it to work. Then I go back to chrome, it tells me I'm offline again. It's not everytime and seems to be only with data and not wifi.

Notifications

How are notifications working for you after this update? Sometimes when I try to open the notification from top bar it doesn't open and it disappears from top bar.

Mine in Brazil still on 9.1.0.185. I don't think they will update mine ever again. Every time i contact huawei service center they tell me that they are looking my case. Didn't even get .193

Tried everything. Hicare China, Germany, Chile, Argentina... With vpn to.
Tried hicare 10 (There isn't Brasil as a possible country-probably android 10 ain't coming here).
Also tried hisuite and eRecovery.
Calling huawei customer services since September.
Nothing works on mine p30-pro. VOG-L29 C605E

For me hisuite update works only if I deactivate the Sim cards under settings-> wireless-> dual sim. Then new connection to hisuite and search for updates.
That's for normal updates, not for Android 10

Have you done something else?
Tried here hisuite after deactivating the Sim card and still no luck. Still on 9.1.0.185.

I just did this hopefully it works. I'll be testing today to see if it has, thank you!!
AH, cache partition, I thought you meant for each app. That makes sense, something I would usually do on a phone where I flash custom roms, you'd think they'd do this during the update.

You guys still dont understand that updates are released based on imei batches. Imagine if they would release the update for 10 milion people in the same time , all downloading 4gb in the same time, they would need facebook's servers at least. They are releasing batches for each country/areas in the world to see if there are any issues/reports then they can release it to bigger batches. Its simple: no imei whitelisted by huawei, no update

All those vpn, hicare and other stuff that everyone is trying is pure bullsh*t.

Wasting your breath pal... There's literally hundreds of posts on here explaining this.. and thousands of posts from people who somehow can type in English but can't read it ?

So still no luck trying to fix the mobile data issue some of us are having with Android 10. Has anyone heard of any fixes for this?! Played with apn settings, cleared cache from recovery, I still haven't done a factory reset but I'm really trying to avoid that due to not having a proper backup ?
