I believe some delays could be caused by national operators, until they come up with ”their version” of firmware. By the way, WHY would vodafone need modding the firmware, for ease of access to one's phone? Surveillance by authorities? See that in my case I waited LONG for EMUI11 138 until Vodafone came up with their... equivalent.

I don't think anyone cares about these security patches anymore, Android 11, however, is a different story but there seems to be nothing regarding it which is quite unfortunate.

Although the official log says they are just security patches, I'm not sure about it. For exemple on 10.1 if I remember correctly, we got an important camera update which made HDR very aggresive in some photos, although no official log announced it. With .147 I also found out camera gets updated from .130 to .135
