On manual mode.

Incredible difference between the excellent manual mode and the bad auto...

Unfortunately, after 2 months I must say that Im not pleased with the P9s cameras. Regular photos are really good, such as these ones. But when ever I take a picture of a person the face looks pale, dull, almost as if the picture was shot in black and white mode. The same goes for the front selfie camera (my face looks like I dont have any blood in my body:)

I have found the colour saturation to be a little low on default settings. I have mitigated things slightly by keeping it on the Smooth Colours setting. Vivid Colours has the opposite problem of oversaturation. Give that a go. I also usually chuck my favourite photos through Photoshop Express for Android before sending/posting them. Has good tools for quickly adjusting saturation, temperatre, and smoothing out noise. (Yes the built in editor has some of these, but I just prefer Photoshop)

Before and After examples attached. Used Smooth Colours on the original. Took this at the weekend through not very clean glass enclosure. Loving this camera. The one of the Terrapin was on manual mode and has had no tweaking.

thanks for the tip. will try and see if there is any notable difference. regular photos are ok in default mode. it`s just that the pictures of people (namely their faces) look really pale. I`m hopping this mode will help.

The wife put in some new garden lights at the weekend. Went out at night to get her a shot.

Manual mode, ISO 250, exposure at 10 seconds. No after editing or tweaking.

Hi guys, I have a problem with the hdr. With hdr on or off, photos are always the same. I compared with a Motorola from my girlfriend and in front of the sun, for exemple, her photos are colorful, mine are really dark. Attached an example, first is with hdr on, second with hdr off. How can I fix it?
