I'm getting a "your device is not supported" message when i click the recover button. It only says that after my device is connected, so it's definitely detecting it.
I'm using an L-19, unlocked, TRWP installed, rooted and running a custom stock-based ROM and am trying to get back to the stock settings of the device.

Any help?

You can follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/how-to/tools-huawei-p9-firmware-updater-t3432457

The refurbish section can fulfill your requirement.

If your followed it, you may forgot to set the proxy of HiSuite, the settings window is in the hamburger menu located at the top right corner of HiSuite.

Sent from my EVA-L09 using XDA-Developers mobile app

Sorry for my mistake, you should use "without official recovery" section.
Yes, I used that section and I also set the proxy. Yet, when i click recover, it says "Device is not supported". When i click to check the supported list in HiSuite, L-19 is not listed there, only L-09(P9) and L-29(P9 Plus).

Could you take a screenshot of my program after your click the recovery button?

Based on my test, seems that not based on that support list. Thank you for your feedback.

Seems, Huawei directly blocked the device model from this function. Because it did not pass any traffic to my app.

Thus, my app can't handle rest part of it. But interestingly, seems the VIE-L09 (P9 Plus) can flash through that method, because I post the same tools in P9 Plus forum, till now, didn't receive any issue report.

I'm sorry for any incorrect information in my post, I'll correct it later. Currently, I'm prefer you can try to flash official recovery first, and then return back to stock firmware by official OTA or SD card flash method.

Here is the link of rest tools.
Huawei Update Extractor
And
Fully update package

Once you downloaded the OTA package, extract the update.zip, you can get the update.app.

Then, using Huawei Update Extractor to get the recovery.img, and put the update.app in sdcard 'dload' directory. Then, using fastboot flash official recovery, and using sd card method to flash full official firmware.

After that, If you find any issues related to the data partition, like incomplete theme or incorrect icon, simply follow the refurbish method by my tool.

Hope that can help you go back to official firmware.

Will try this method by the end of this week.
Thank you :)

Edit: worked perfectly! Thanks again :)
